update - Bashiok posted with some information about the status of the AH for South Korea
Official Blizzard Quote:
So, I was right, they have an auction house that uses Battle.net balance, which is separate from the gold auction house. There are some details I'm still fuzzy on because the Korea Battle.net balance works a bit differently from ours.
In any case, it won't be the currency-free option you're looking for.
It seems Diablo 3 officially has a rating for South Korea, Rated 'M'. However it seems this rating comes with the lack of a RMAH. We will keep you updated with any information. (source)
Note: The following is a Google translation of part of the article.
Quote fromㅇ geimmul Rating Board (abbreviated 'geimwi', Chairman yisugeun) 13 days of the 2012 classification of the hearing in 4th Blizzard's Diablo 3 ', the' Rated M 'classification as decided.
ㅇ ratings board with respect to this classification, cash transactions between users feature is not implemented because of the fact it was not subject to review, he said.
ㅇ In addition, the interpretation of the Law Review and refer to relevant organizations, in the process for future service modifications (updates) in cash transactions between users through the implementation of functions to modify the content if the reclassification of non-reportable (classification reapply) Obviously the target is said.
Bashiok on "Many More" Beta Invites
Bashiok replied to a user on twitter about more possible invites.
Official Blizzard Quote:
Will there be any more beta invites for diablo?
Yes. Many.
this is something we know little about. Can we expect these new invites to come shortly after the writeup by Jay Wilson?
We generally don't announce beta invites beforehand, provide invite numbers, etc. It just makes people go insane. (source)
Wizard - Hydra Runed
Today we have the Wizard's Hydra spell. We had a first look at this at Blizzcon '10 but a few things have changed. Now even more so than in the past, keep in mind some of the effects and graphics are not fully working at this time. (for example, no poison cloud appears on the ground, The eleictric hydra does not fire, and so on.)
Electronic Version of Book of Cain?
In case you are stuck on pure digital media, Blizzard is looking into a digital version of the Book of Cain. While not mentioned, a narrated version by Deckard Cain would defintely add to the appeal.
Official Blizzard Quote:
Hello, is there a digital version of Book of Cain that I can buy from an online retailer?
@Diablo No, only a hardcover is available. We are exploring digital possibilities but nothing for sure yet.
Beta Screenshots
In the first screenshot, we have a Wizard who has been frozen after killing a Champion Skeleton with the frozen attribute. Then we have a Witch Doctor and his mongrels attacking a horde of Zombies after dispensing of an electrified champion. Finally, we have a Barbarian attacking a Carrion Nest in the Den of the Fallen, a random dungeon that is a nod to the Den of Evil.
looking forward to trying out different specs with it in d3. if inferno is truly dangerous then having that kind of ranged damage will be invaluable.
Game Rating Board(abbr. 'GRB', Pres. Lee Soo Kun) has decided 'Diablo3' to be rated M (Mature) on the 13th day [of the current month] of the year 2012 during the 4th judging.
Because Cash trade is not yet implemented (completed) it was declared that the system was not a target of this rating and the board decided to not evaluate it at the current time.
According to the laws regarding expiry dates and temporary clauses, in case the cash trade system is implemented via an update, instead of a review of the current content [the game] will be have to be resubmitted for a reevaluation of its rating.
Translated: After contacting the board we obtained a reply saying, "Trade through battle coins can be exchanged into any other currency at any time and due to Blizzard not providing an actual working form of this trade system we were unable to [evaluate it] in depth and had to pass the game version with the deleted RMAH"

Haha I agree, but in your manner. To striking and direct!! We'll just have to wait till Jay give us that article so we can continue out tin-foil-hattery.
Did you play the beta since day 1? The beta was flawless then, and NOW it's buggy cause they started adding stuff. And how long does server stability testing take?! I don't know the numbers and stuff, but with constantly adding beta players for more than 4 months, I would've figured that the server testing must be nearly complete; but of course there's gonna be 1 million times the players there are currently in the beta, but they should be able to calculate the needed server strength with the current numbers of beta players.
The last "contest" beta invites go out on Jan 23de right? Not talking about the random wave from Blizz.
did you read what it said above the video? All the attacks where different but missing some of the effects... poison one adds clouds after.... arcane one blows up... big one shoots trails of fire (which does work..just not animatied) ...so how are they even close to the same thing?
yeah the other thousands of people think otherwise rofl. EX the article next week,
hydra's all do different effects and different damage buddy. READ the rune effects on the skill calc.

^no one reply to this guy about korea. he's one of the conspiracy nuts, you'll only fuel his nerd rage xD
<3 you bunny
I hope it's not long before Diablo III launches.
I hope that's a heart and not a penis...
And I don't want people to fuel my nerdrage either, it's tiring...
And just to add (don't want a reply if you're disagreeing ): Lets say the date Blizz have at the back of their head for the release is March 31ste, they can still leave a gap between today (GBR APPROVED!!! YEAH!!!) and their release date announcement, just so they can prove that the GBR had nothing to do with it (Jay & I think Bashiok also said something similar just to prove us wrong). So they can if they want to give us a release date tomorrow or in the middle of Feb and still release the game on March 31ste...YDG!!
But I'll wait for that Jay article first.
If you remember the Blizzard release schedule that was leaked last year, they are already behind on like 2 or 3 other releases (SC2 expansion, most notably), so it's not hard to imagine that everything has fallen behind. Again. I'd possibly point to the big drop in WoW subscriptions as a contributing factor. They don't release a lot of games, so they rely on that constant revenue stream. If it dries up a little, imagine the impact it'd have.
You can also look at some of the blue posts. The follower system is being totally revamped (survivable after normal) - imagine the issues that creates with the latter difficulties. You'd have to reduce the player effectiveness and/or up the monster effectiveness to compensate. It's a decent sized change to make.
And the retooling of the socket system. That has to be a lenghty process. Some of the runestones make no sense or are just dumb. The demon hunter one that are all various on shadow beasts? Get a little creative would you. Some of the damage numbers seem way off on a few of them too.
The "balance" issue is a bunch of hooey. WoW has been out for, what, 6 years and it still isn't balanced in their eyes. Look at some of the previous builds of this game. Upping damage 1% here, lowering it 1% there - that's not balancing, that's just minor tinkering (ie wasting time). There will be tons of patches post release - there is no real need to hold up anything for a balance reason, when that is easily patched every tuesday until they are happy with it.
no its definitely a huge penis in your general direction bunny. xD
look at it this way, regardless of what did or didnt delay the game its most likely coming out end of march or slightly after at this point so we'll all be knee deep in demon blood within the next few months xD
Fo sho!
Not sure to understand what he is saying. Is he saying that S.K. will have real money AH without cashout options? But people can still put real money into their ebalance?
