I wish I could stop being so cynical about these releases. Cause yeah all I can think is how I saw that picture a long time ago. And I'm no more impressed just cause it's in high resolution. Again, I remain happy I never "liked" Diablo on Facebook.

These sceenshots are so lame....It's the same stuff we've been seeing for ages. Not impressed at all.

Yeah. I think that the main problem is that we all want to be playing the game. So, any picture, no matter how awesome, will not fill that void.

Maybe...But it makes me a bit offended that Blizz puts so little effort into it. It's like they think we are complete retards and won't recognize it's the same stuff we've seen time and time again and they try to push it on us as something new.

Well, this is a tricky thing to balance. For the few of us that track the development daily and know everything that has been put out there, it is hard for us to see anything new. However, "most" people do not follow Diablo that closely and could have easily never seen the tomb viper picture (I'm sure many here would say such). sometimes you have to rehash old stuff so that the people who have missed it still get a chance to see it.

That's not why I feel that way. I just think it's strange for them to be all, "Like us on Facebook! And we'll reward you with a couple screenshots!"

And here we all always coaching each other, saying, "Come on guys, only X number of likes to go..." And it just makes everyone look like jackasses.

But like I said, I'm pretty cynical about all this stuff anyway. And I actually am okay with waiting just cause I'm not ready to buy a new machine yet. :happy:

The concept art is really old stuff. There were users with that as avatar here.

Hmmm, I'm having trouble trying to find out what blue team (Witch Doctor or Barbarian) spell/effect is being cast on the top of the PvP screenshot that has the indicator reticle as large as that. If it's not Witch Doctor or Barbarian, then it almost certainly looks like a blue team Hydra, which means there's a Wizard on the blue team too that's not in the picture. It also means that they increased the size of the indicator reticle for Hydra from what we saw at Blizzcon 2010 and presskit videos.

does that make that possibly a 3v3?

i only see 2 of each team.

Just restating that I think the whole "WE'LL POST OLD PICTURES LOLOL!" thing is pretty lame.

I'm wondering if they even thought they would get that many likes, or that with each milestone they start to feverishly search for random images.

I am fine with their updates. I would HATE for them to give me a screen shot of something totally awesome, and ruin the surprise/wow moment of it for when I come across it in my first play through.

I belive its a 2v2. The blue circle on top I belive is an arcane hydra. It's shooting out arcane bolts (I'm assuming that those arcane balls are being spit out from a hydra) But thats just my opinion.

But seriously, the whole facebook "likes" thing is getting absurd (<--or almost any other adjective for stupid or ridiculous). Bribing people to advertise your game by rewarding them with little packets of data which effectively function as advertisements in and of themselves... I really hope they are actually making a good game when they need a break from trying their hardest to generate hype...
