Shoulder pads are a more "modern" RPG addition, I've noticed. Most fantasy MMORPGs, Torchlight, Diablo III, etc. have them now. They did say early on that new types of equipment would be added that were not in Diablo II, I believe. Hair is kinda weird, though.

*shrugs* We constantly tell people to PM us when new information is available. If they wanted credit for the find, they should have PMed us- I can't be held responsible for reading every single thread on the board every second of every day. Scyber had a thread about it up in the news staff forum right when the information became available, but he had to work, and so I only made an article out of it upon waking up at 12:00 today. Today's my day off of school and work

That mixture of rage and sadness from watching episode one is gone, they've actually given us solid news :D.

However, I do like the hair. Seems fitting, to me.

Some other things to note from the video are the iconic jokes from the Jace Hall show. There was a joke about adding a cod piece as an equipable armor slot. (In case you don't know what a codpiece is click here.) Chris Metzen, also jumped in to steal the Diablo team's decision making gun and Jay's pirate hat. He also joked how WoW was better and Blizzard's cash cow and that the Diablo team has been working for over six years on the same game.

Another thing interesting worth mentioning is the armor progression of the Female Monk. Many have speculated on how such a cloth based character would look when upgrading their armor. From looking at this picture (right, sorry for the poor quality) it is clear to see how the armor upgrades. While the chest does get some more detail and it fills out some more, the most noticeable difference is the apparatus that appear on the Monk's arm.

Loved the armors and the progression.

And get used to shoulder parts since it's everyone will use it since shoulder are a equipable slot like leg, chest and head.
But i hated her hair. It's to stylized. Hated it.

wanna see how it will look like in the game. Maybe she turns out to be cute.

The female monk is everything I want her to be, and her hair is great, but that is just my opinion.

Her progression seems really fitting as well, so overall, I think they did a splendid job.

Looks fine to me.

And as for the asian deal...the male monk isn't asian so why would the female?

Anybody else notice the lack of giant prayer beads form the female.

Meh. This always seems to happen for select people. For some reason, unless I upload the pictures on to my own album, they don't show up. I used these images from Don's album. The main issue is that I never know if people can't see them or not until someone says so, since I can for some reason. I'll fix it in a moment. Sorry for the inconvenience.
