New Forum Feature: Experience the Experience
When clicking on a username in their postbit, it contains some general information about their level and experience points. To see a breakdown of that user's points you can visit their profile and click on the "Experience" tab. Furthermore, you can go to the "Community" or "Quicklinks" navbar items to find the Member List sorted by highest level.
As of right now, Seth holds the Most Popular, Community, Blog, and Calendar awards. Elfen Lied holds the Posting award, ScyberDragon holds the Activity award, and Nektu holds the Frequent Poster award. I think we can all agree, Seth is the man to beat. More awards, based on other categories, will be coming in the future, so be on the lookout.
I agree... they're not Diablo-ish looking....
Ah, that explains it. Thanks, Nacho. I wasn't complaining, just wondering. I'd hate to get sent to another dimension. I like it here. Unless of course, there's a lot of scotch there.
Anyway, thanks for giving more fuel to my Diablofans.com addiction. I guess this means I am officially the most active member? How exactly is activity calculated?
I agree that the bars need a more appealing aesthetic look. Maybe *cough*steal*cough the exp bars from Diablo.
I also think it would be cool if there was a list that you could look at under each award of people who have earned it in the past. You know, so when I stop being the most active users I can show my grand children that I once was. (If this does exist I can't find it).

As far as I know, that's no possible to do. And what fun would that be? You need to sweat a little to keep that title scyber
I just noticed the feature to give points away. I also noticed the ranking shop which is disabled for now.
Agreed. The bars are visible if you click on someone's name in their post-bit.
I don't think it also needs to be visible in the post-bit, itself. It messes with the aesthetic.
I also don't see what all this award and posting and "hey, be as active as possible in a ...forum" is about, but I don't particularly care. I don't see how that could push any average guy that comes by to post more, and I don't care because its meaningless no matter how you put it.
I think some people -really- have an addiction problem to Levels and XP.
I have to agree with you on that one. Those bars are intrusive and mean nothing without numbers attached to them. I'm pretty sure that there is a way to reduce their size and make them less apparent. When I look at a message the thing I see first are those annoying bars. White on black is too much of a contrast to give a discrete interface. Also, I would prefer medals or a kind of significant symbol to go with the award that would really be cool.
about the collours, yeah, they look flashy, but this is new, I'm sure the guys are planning to improve it
Join-date doesn't mean very much if you haven't been around enough for anyone to have a clue who you are.
This mod is a reaction to all of the positive and negative rep spamming and the resultant whining the staff has been receiving for a while now. It is not a cheap shot at trying to increase activity. The statistics, however, are accurate.
