Diablo 3 'Overthrown' Diorama Available for Pre-order.

Back in July of last year, we posted about Sideshow Collectibles' impressive "Overthrown" Diorama that was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2008. All that was shown was a grey prototype at the time, but now they've unveiled the fully-painted version and it looks great!

The diorama is due for a Fall 2009 release and is currently available for pre-order on the Sideshow Collectibles web site for $299.

ohh wow... its normally Grey and flesh tone. when i saw the wallpaper pic i was surprised, i really thought the statue was colored with the gold and blue back light... goes show how much better it looks to me when its ... dare i say, coloured.

Please note that a Regular Edition of this piece, which comes WITHOUT the interchangeable helmeted head, is now available to pre-order Diablo III OVERTHROWN Statue while supplies last. There is also a Wait List open for the Exclusive.

I think that's suppose(The statue) to happen in the end of D3 and he's yelling to the heavens so the first expansion will have something to do with fighting heavens forces for some kind of revenge of some backstabing heaven did so the player would kill Diablo for them.(Just an idea :P)

I for one, believe that $300 is kinda ridiculous for this statue, but it is also not really my thing; however, with that said, I believe that a lot of people have not fully read the specs on this statue...

For one, it is not plastic, it is made out of polystone. Secondly, this thing is weighing in at 15 lbs., over 18 inches tall and 12 inches wide. This thing is huge. Plus, each one of this statues are hand painted, etc. Now, with that out of the way, people who enjoy collecting these kinds of things I'm sure wouldnt mind paying $300...I would LOVE to have one, but not for $300...maybe $50, lol
