Bashiok commented today about the D2 content patch 1.13 in the works. Many suspected it to be out already but here is what he had to say.

Some exciting news - and it also may be some comfort - due to the types of changes we're making we will be offering the Diablo II 1.13 patch for testing and feedback on a test realm before its release. We'll have more information about how you'll be able to help test it in the coming weeks.

Well I've been to the Pit of Acheon and I actually got something from it... 3 runes were put into my inventory when I opened the chest at the end of it. I believe they were a Tal, Ral, and Ort rune. I guess that's not much of a reward, but runes can be hard to come by.

Like most of you said, if it requires testing, and lots of testing, there has to be a whole new area, not just a boss. A single boss / event would just require a bit of tweaking.

I'll take that they removed immunities. That would just be the best thing to do, make a whole lot more builds playable iin hell. It was so freakin annoying to not be able to play your char anywhere unless it's a hammerdin... And now it needs lots of testing, since immunities were a big part of hell's difficulty. Seems logical.

No, you get that from the second quest in Act V from rescuing the Barbarian hostages in the Frigid Plains- you probably forgot to check your inventory after you finished it. You get those three runes as a reward for finishing the quest from Qual-khek or whatever.

If you're referring to the Adria quest speculation about patch 1.12, I don't think we were 'denied' it. I just think Elfen was dooped

One thing not being mentioned for an upgrade is the resolution of the game. It feels sht playing at 800X res , especially nowdays.... if they updated that d2 would look a lot better and even playable..

I've seen the higher resolution mod and it actually looks nice, the only problem is you can see way farther off the screen than normal, so it's kind of a advantage. I wish they'd somehow support other resolutions though.

If they supported 1680x1050 you'd probably be able to see half of act 1 in one screen lol
Then you'd be able to teleport as far as you could see, unless they capped it

on like page five someone mentioned battle.net 2.0 it has already been stated that battle.net 2.0 will be released with starcraft II so thats out

That seems more like battle.net 1.0, version 2.0

I think 2.0 will actually be a whole different system for games, the newer games mostly I think.

2.0 is already up- it's running with WoW at the moment and will be added with DIII and SCII. The patch isn't going to add Diablo II to it, they already said legacy games won't be included in it.

SCII will be the first with the in-game interface, but WoW works with it currently in the browser portion. That's what the "new battle.net account" thing is: http://us.battle.net/?rhtml=y.

guys wake up its a CONTENT PATCH!!!! it's going to blow your F@#$%ing mind!!!!!! i cant wate for it and i wish they would work without sleep, AND NO BATHROOM BRAKES!!!! aarrrrggggg work!!!!
