Diablo III Website Animation Updates

Tyrael's wings have been updated on the official Diablo III website, and the Diablo III logos now have a red smokey glow animation.

They look awesome! He seems even more powerful than he did before. Before he was more calm and collected, yet held a powerful bearing presence, much like his appearance in Diablo II. Now he is just outright powerful.

Its good to see evidence of Blizzard working hard on Diablo III, even though we already trust that they are.

That looks so cool.

Just out of curiosity have the World environmental backgrounds always moved as well.

I know I've been a bit of a negative Nancy lately, but, what is the point of an update like that? Either way it's going to be a really long time before they release D3. Does it ever bother anyone else when they do little graphic alterations like that? As if to pacify those getting impatient? Remember when they added animated birds to the Tristram page and everyone just thought that was the tops?

Yeah, I'll admit that Tyrael looks badass as ever. But, still....

I'm not the guy who does that prophecy shit, but I took it as a means of symbolizing the game development and its accrual of stages.

I got credit for a front-page news article. I feel really accomplished for some reason.

Siaynoq, I quite enjoy the little graphical enhancements. It feel like a little nod towards the community that the D3 team hasn't forgotten us but it doesn't want to commit to a full-fledged update. It also reminds me that they didn't really have to do these updates and that I'm privaleged viewing the things that I am. It also reminds me that I'm really fucking excited about this game.

i think he looked cooler before, now it looks weird. maybe if it showed his whole wings insted of just the base....

Also it was mentioned in the original thread that the D3 logos on the site now have smoke and stuff coming from them.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet in this thread

Awesome stuff!!
Had to clear cache a couple of times before I got it to work, but it looks amazing.
Unfortunately though I don't consider this a real update I hope they come up with a real update soon.
or at least a new wallpaper with the female wizard.

lol Dauroth...i was actually thinking, maybe this is more than a fun art change for tyreal...afterall i think it makes him look more vicious, which leads to him looking more evil and ready to kill IMO.

Both are cool picture in my opinion.

Yea right..Blizz told everyone they are not even done with the first act...they are still in Alpha

He seems less powerful to me. Looks like if he does swing his wings to fly, they will become steam. I don't know. Looks like hes losing his wings.
