Blizzcon 2008 Announced

"IRVINE, Calif. – May 12, 2008 – – Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced plans for its third BlizzCon™ gaming convention, to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on October 10 and 11. BlizzCon is a celebration of the global player communities surrounding Blizzard Entertainment®'s Warcraft®, StarCraft®, and Diablo® franchises. In response to the demand to accommodate more attendees, this year's event has expanded from two convention halls to three."

Explorer's "50% at best for a Diablo 3 announcement" for the Blizzcon last year is actually fairly accurate, though

This might be some bad news.......
Hydra is not considered as possible Diablo 3. What if the announcement is "Project Hydra"? I have a 95% influence saying it is diablo 3 that is going to be released due to all of the activity...but wiki seperated unknown (possible diablo 3) and hydra.

It's wikipedia, no one on these forums knows what hydra stands for or if D3 will be an MMO, why would wikipedia know?

Good exciting news indeed!

No Blizzcons so far have announced new games, but the WWI(World Wide Invitational) have. I think all the pieces are starting to fall into place.

Too many similar pieces are coming together now, it just feels like its actually on the verge of happening, not like when it was in Korea. Diablo is big in Europe and Americas, so WWI and Blizzcon are there.. A WWI announcement in June and everyone salivating for that CGI teaser at Blizzcon. D3 releases June 29 2009. Its perfect!

I would def buy a game that all characters, mobs, bosses, and npcs were cows

not those stupid taurens either

and on the plus side is you will never need to buy water as you can produce some moo-juice of your own to replenish mana
