From two convention halls to Three? Can this end all rumors now lol.

One convention hall per major franchise? Hmmm....

Yea because before the two halls were for Warcraft and Starcraft....now they opened up another. LOL it would suck if it was for a completely new game hehehe

So now we've got rumors started for two major events in the same year. Wonder which one will actually announce what we want announced. Maybe they'll announce it at the WWI and then have displays and such at Blizzcon '08?

I could be wrong here but were the Blizzcons used to just present what they have worked on to the public, after they had the WWI?

Blizzcon 1 about WoW 1?
Blizzcon 2 about Starcraft 2?
Blizzcon 3 about Diablo 3?

Ah I hope it's actual hands on stuff. I won't be able to go either way, but I think it would really suck if they announced it at WWI then just had videos and trailers at Blizzcon. That'd be a sure sign that D3 is still several years away

Probably the WoW expansion and Starcraft 2. But we can all keep our fingers crossed. Damn, when will they bring this thing to the east coast?!

MD, did you know about Blizzcon 3 before today?

This one was enough to bring me out of squatting and actually in to the conversation. I've been playing D2 in spurts since release and am super happy to have found a community that is still active and devoted to the game. I'm just as excited/hopeful for a D3 announcement as everyone else, but to protect my hopes and dreams I remain a skeptic on this one.

Can anyone confirm (by way of actually having been there) that last year Blizzcon devoted one hall to WoW and one to SC2? Until I know for certain that that was the case I'm still chalking the extra hall up to WoW's mad popularity.

The announcement would have to take place at the WWI. So far, Blizzcon has not been used to announce anything, only to display what is already announced, while the Invitationals ahve been used to announce games, like recent Starcraft 2.

Ok so BlizzCon 07 used 2 convention halls. 1 for WoW and 1 for StarCraft II?

If that's the case then I'm pretty sure there's going to be an announcement in June!
