Oh yeah... huge stuff happening here in the next few months. Stay tuned. hehe
you forgot somthing big news for this community... the world.. and the united states because everyone knows we feel that we are better than all... GO CANADA
NO! America is the best at everything! We did everything from electricity, to the car, to the internet, to sending Arnold Schwarzenegger back through time to destroy Sarah Connor, to becoming the Furor of the modern world!
Therefore we deserve first crack at all of the info.
It's great to have Umaro back and active. It pleases me. Hopefully these next couple months are in fact huge. I can see how that could happen, too.
First off, Blizzard started the hype already this month with 4 new hiring positions for the team behind Diablo I and II.
Next, I can see them answering more Diablo questions for the third anticipated BlizzCast. They already answered a couple questions in the last BlizzCast that dealt with the Diablo universe.
And for an annoucement at the WWI...
I'd have to know how popular Diablo is in Europe. I've heard it's pretty huge. So, therefore this would make sense:'
StarCraft II = Announced in Seoul. Seoul = StarCraft is very popular there
Diablo game = Announced in Paris. Europe = Diablo is popular there
Kinda makes sense, and another thing that's wierd is that Blizzard is saying there will be content there for children over the age of 17 or older ONLY, and that means the game content would be rated Mature. Well, last I checked, Diablo was the only Blizzard game rated Mature. So there are a few things that can already be considered as possible hype for the annoucement of a Diablo game in Paris in June.
America has the most active players in Diablo.... Why would they release it in Europe, that is why there is US West and East..... Unless I'm mistaken....
If it ahs any consolation, acid, I know a few people from different countries in Europe that play DiabloII, even when it was a newer game. And I believe the one I've talked to in eprson also said that it was popular back in his home (he was a transfer student at the time from France). Hope that helps you feel better about the situation, Acid.
But with all these things coming together, I feel very confident that there will be an announcement on DiabloIII in June. Damn, I'm getting pumped up.
I've just heard Diablo is popular in Europe. I need some true Europeans to answer this question for me!
Maybe so, but even if that is true, the game should be announced in the US, just for those who are not fans of Warcraft, and are still fans of Blizzard, since they are a US based organization.

The last WWI was held in Korea, a country big on Starcraft, so was anyone surprised when they announced Starcraft II?
France is gaga over Diablo (at least to the best of my knowledge). So it is fairly logical to assume that should there be an announcement, it will be in someway related to the Diablo Franchise.
I just feel left out from Blizzard as an American, since they are based in the US, they should at least give us some attention besides WoWcon (Blizzcon).
I live in New Zealand. We don't get shit. Heck in regards to realms we get classed as Asia. Like hell I live in Asia. Nothing against Asia by any means, but where I live could'nt be any further from that location.

Can I call you a kiwi from now on? also, New Zealand is a way cooler place than the US, so I guess you get that, and you also have The World's Fastest Indian which is a sweet movie, and some other stuff.
What exactly is New Zealand's national sport? I can't remember.

For those of us that despise WoW atleast...
Coming from the UK I feel that the US gets more than enough love from Blizzard... I would love for a Blizzcon to be held here, or a WWI, but it won't happen.

Rugby I believe. But hey, I live in Canada so don't trust my word.

if they are based in the us how come when u type /time bnet time is like 4 hours later than the latest american time? like its 10:00 on east coast it will be like 2-3 over there
I would hate to see this website go down but if it was sold to blizzard to make an annoucement this summer it would be the greatest ever! considering that he has had this domain since 1998 that was way before blizzard probably planned to do a 3 i would guess they gave him some pretty good size of change for this domain. and with the recent activity with other domains getting registered with blizzard, this one was probably last on the list. I wouldnt think they would tell him anything other than "heres what were willing to offer for a domain transfer/buy" and even then they probably had him verbally agree to something. I know thats how Microsoft did it with the owner of Halo2.com in the short congrats if you sold the domain and made some money because thats good news for the rest of us! if not hopefully we see a new nice design and last but not least let us know if you put up a new forum because i would imagine we would all like to join again! for some epic loot runs

And Blizzard is dumb for having more US servers.

WRONG. It was a British fellow that created the World Wide Web - I know this because he was knighted and you have to be British to be knighted.
Well... You did get the Return of the King premiere... But I guess that's about it. :/

I reject your reality and substitute it with my own.
I really think Blizzard is going to announce D3 and NOT a MMO in June. I just hope Blizzard truly has control over it's products like they say....
