Hellllllo everyone, I have arrived at Blizzcon. I'm wearing a black and blue Blizz Entertainment T-Shirt and hat. I have a press pass but It may be hard to find me. Tomorrow I will set up a spot to meet up, but stayed tuned because there's more to come soon.
update:Wrath of the Lich King has already been confirmed as this was included in the BlizzCon goody bags. No word on Diablo 3 yet however, so keep your fingers crossed! -Mockery
Well. Now that I see they announced the expansion for WoW. I'm sure thats it.
Face it. Blizzard has grown FAT and LAZY on the WoW franchise. They don't give a shit about Diablo fans as long as these fat bastards keeps paying them $12/month. All 9 million of them.

In this WoW expansion, does every single player eventually get the chance to fight and kill the Lich King? It seems like they should've saved something like that for Warcraft 4.
No. Only the people who quit their jobs and live at home with their moms will get to.
Just like it is right now with The Burning Crusade. If you want to kill Illidan you need to quit your job, raid like 4 nights a week, grind every day for enough money for enchants and repair bills, buy money from Chinese gold farmers, and sleep for an hour a week. Then maybe a guild who is raiding and doesn't have a bunch of drama going on will let you go with them.

This seems to be a fundamental flaw with the gameplay of WoW. Does it even have much to offer the casual gamer?
With an announcement for SC2 I do bet a larger number of people may have bought copies to revisit the game with all the hype and excitement for number 2.

It does, all the single and group content is quite fun, it just leaves you knowing there is more and bigger enemies that you can't fight or even see.
Id be happy with a fat old bald guy holding a sign for d3
I tried searching to no avail, but I remember a picture of this guy at one Blizzzcon a few years back who was holding a sign demanding the latest LoD patch. I think it was for patch 1.11.
