posted a message on Micro Transactions Coming - Commentary

I am not opposed to micro transactions so far as they don't provide any competitive advantage to players.

I choose not to spend additional money on my Blizzard games, but some people really love to. I bought collectors editions of both D3 and RoS and sold off the codes for the cosmetic stuff. If people want to spend their money on it, let them. If you don't want to spend your money on it, then don't.

I think the new (renewed) revenue stream would greatly benefit the player base as there would be an influx of cash to help upgrade and maintain login servers, hire additional people to work on content, etc. I'm all for it.

Usually its the Mammoth Hydra animation that gets me killed the most because I can't see shit on the ground. Blizz please make these pets "invisible" like you did with Demon Hunter and Witch Doctor pets!

Jailer almost always instantly kills me at 35+ grifts if I forget to respec, and I really hate Vortex + Arcane because they always seem to suck you right into the center of the arcane orb while 3 other beams are converging on it...

But typically the thing that kills me the most is not paying attention to the stuff on the ground because I'm too busy trying to find my CURSOR!

If I can ever get passed the QUEUE timers, I will post some screen shots of loot I've gotten from the PTR so far, lots of Ancient rings for sure. Nothing to write home about.

I have been playing Non-Seasonal DH almost exclusively (95% of playtime) and I don't see why people are complaining so much. Why don't you all just drop some flippin' DPS and build up some toughness and get some defensive passives and then you don't have to sit around a corner to play your class. Be a more proactive player, learn how to avoid the easily avoidable damage (Jailer and Thunderstorm are still not avoidable). Be a little more tanky, worry less about your sheet DPS and then when you can take some damage and you have 3-5 sentries up and you just blast stuff away. You can't kill anything if you are dead and running back from the last checkpoint.

I don't get why they don't up the base armor roll and also the range of +armor rolls...
I agree with this statement. If you want to make it more impactful, increasing the base armor roll by 30% has a huge benefit of passively raising our toughness. An extra 165 armor on one piece (just drawing from St. Archew's Gage posted above with 553 armor) isn't a lot, but if all your armor ends up getting replaced with Ancient that's an extra 1155 armor assuming all pieces roll roughly 550 base armor on them.
