Guys, it's not a 100% chance for a leg. Its a higher chance for a leg. Nothing is guaranteed. Except for Rakanoth, which currently works when you're lvl 60 too. But he's bugged.
I can confirm this as I have leveled a new barb on hardcore and I only got 1 legendary of an act boss.
And If i can recall it correctly, there's a blue post saying it's all currently working as intended. Except for Rakanoth.
yes yes, forgotten that blue had a post saying the virgin kill legendaries are not guaranteed.

yup what you really lost on dying is just the game play hour from lvl 1-70 (which is doable within 10 hours with backups), and the gears on the charc
smart craft really make harcore a lot easier, just keep all mats you found then ur alts will be leveling fast.

So your issue with the new patch is the difficulty desire and monster density.
For difficulty, you'll need to buy RoS to play in torment, worth it or not, your call.
Regarding monster density, believe blizz will tune it up else everyone will just farm at act3 again.

virgin butcher kill on my DH yesterday night and did not get legendary, but i am level 40 while i kill butch
i did not backtrack any zone or quests, just following questing line straightly. but my beta friend created T1 game for me hence the exp.
moral of story: 40 is too high for butcher, expert or master difficulty is good scale for legandary guarantee too.

Didn't read any similar topic here, so created one:
How will blizzard address character slots issue if they have ladder/non ladder league?
1. 12 or 15 slots is far from enough for ladder and non ladder characters.
2. if blizz allowing 12 slots for ladder and 12 for non ladder, what will happen if a ladder session end?
my 2 cents: with the issues above, i'll think that RoS will not have ladder at launching, maybe ladder only kicks in after some major patch/expansion.
What you guys think?
