Yea i realize this isn't new info, just wanted to add it to standing debate, lets hope blizzcon 07 is our year so we can get somethin substancial to talk about.
I have a few buddies at school who are in the game design program, and are currently working as interns for Blizzard. As soon as I found this information, I was chomping at the bit to know, "WHEN THE F IS DIABLO 3 COMING OUT?!" and although he laughed at me for a while he did end up telling me that right now they are in fact working on D3 and it is planned for release but as with more blizz titles, they wont announce it until they are dead ready to. This isn't really news because I can't back up these statements, its just hearsay, and basically just an acknowledgement of its pre release existence. My friend works on WoW BC and didn't know much about d3 details since it is so tightly gaurded. keep the faith.
For my money I really would like to see the Diablo realm the same way we saw in Diablo and Diablo 2. This is not to say the graphics can not be better, but to keep the feel of the game the same I hope we get back to our birds eye view of beastie slashing. If you think about it, it doesnt make sense for them to make it like WoW because it would put another competitor in the already flooded MMORPG market.
