Well said WhirL. Unfortuneately, your request about Diablo 3 will be hard to fulfill. There will always be people looking to abuse a system any way that they can. To make something truely unhackable is a near impossible feat. But if it can be done, then I think it should.
And what is botting exactly? My experience has not heard of the term and thus I am curious as to what it is.
I was wondering if there was anyone else out there that believes that Act 3 is annoying. I actually decided to try it a few nights ago and found it be rather... ANNOYING. But then again, I was rushed through the entire difficulty and I couldn't get one of the quests activated.

How do you garantee that the plain armor you get socketed can have 5 sockets? Does it go by difficulty, char lvl? Or is it completely random?

Been playing Diablo since it first game out in the late 90's. First time I beat Diablo 1 was with a lvl 24 warrior using an Axe of the Titans which gave +24 to Strength. Oh, I was such a machine, but kept going back to town for heal pots, lol.
I'll admit it, I've been spoiled by the rushes and the leeching. We just aren't patient enough anymore to work out a character like in Diablo 1. I think if they implimented something like if a person is so many lvls higher, then the lower lvl doesn't gain exp from the other person's kill and such.
I've always wondered, what exactly is the difference between a ladder and non-ladder character, aside from the fact that you get your name posted if your one of the first to reach lvl 99.
And please no "non-ladder sucks" or "ladder sucks" replies because those hold no true value.
I never thought of it. I love my pc, but I have a lot of high hopes for the XBOX360. And the xbox live is a really good service. I have and can play diablo2lod with a controller and it only takes a little bit to get used to. Also The Xbox will have usb ports for a keyboard and mouse.
so with that an XBOX360 diablo3 would be kindof cool.
I haven't said anything about the nextgen playstation for one big reason, The online capability is really horrible. So if they go to a console version it should be an xbox exclusive.

Making it XBox exclusive is retarded. Diablo is BLIZZARD owned, not Microsoft and they will never buy out Blizzard. Microsoft goes and buys out the titles of certain games that they believe will be big sellars, thus depriving the other gaming companies the chance of having it on their system. I believe this is a very dirty and underhanded tactic and not only that, but it hurts the consumers that do not have an xbox.
I have played the Xbox and Microsoft games. They are very good, but the company itself and the man that owns it need to get their heads checked.
