sure, you like to make every player happy. that is okay.
but having timed exclusive rewards, some players get them while they are achievable (very long periods of time even!) and some players won't. that is what the timed thingy is all about.. offering them up again just devalues the loyal players during the first seasons.
i couldn't care less, since the transmog set isn't sexy since they introduced it. but some players may feel not so good about it.
Then they need to get over it? It's not like it's hard to hit level 70 or anything. Anyone who feels elitist or good because they have something that nobody else can get simply because they played a seasonal character for an hour needs to rethink their life and how they view other people. If it was an actual achievement and fairly hard to obtain with a lot of real work involved that wasn't just a mindless time investment I would agree with you, but that is not the case.

sounds like the guy is just here whining like a bitch and doesn't even realize that the build has just changed and may require a specific legendary or two to pull off instead of cheesing it and abusing broken game mechanics. working as intended imo

it basically gives the very small and very vocal minority of egomongering internet bullies a justification for playing 20 hours a day so that they can brag to all of their friends. The ladders system is counter-productive to the entire game and actually works AGAINST what diablo is designed for. The game is about farming for loot to improve your characters power, and that's it. There is nothing else to the formula other than the slot machine loot system that hooks gambling addicts who then start griping about there being nothing to do because they play bare minimum 16+ hours every single day.
Most importantly is that the ladder system works completely against the casual player (which is the "normal" player, I used to play wow for insane amounts of time over the course of 6 years and never truly enjoyed the game until I slowed down the last couple years and finally quit because I realized the game was designed to suck out your soul and force you into slavery to a second job), Casual players do not WANT to restart the game over and over and over every six months. to reinforce my point, I actually ran into a player who had 70 hours played on their wizard and had only reached level 36! and let's face it, only a couple percent of the ENTIRE WORLD'S PLAYERBASE is even doing MP10 inferno farming.

Let's face it, cheating destroys the integrity of the game considering that TO create said cheat programs the programmers have to take and break the code which slowly destroys the foundations of the game's coding, creating bugs and glitches all over the place. Also, nobody wants a bunch of duped items back into the D3 economy that hackers use as trackers to then crack into your account and steal all your stuff. Then there's the piracy issue. This isn't even the tip of the iceberg as I could go on for hours about why cheating is terrible and as much as most of us hate the "always online" policy, we understand why it is important.
If you can't deal with that then I think it's time for you to move on. I have my own issues with reaper of souls but it has more to do with lack of content and another predictable storyline. we live in the 21st century, kind of hard not to have internet these days and if its such a HUGE DEAL, buy the console version and quit wasting our time with these nonsensical threads.
