a good morning from me first of all.
the problem with the korean games is only that most of them are grinders. I remember playing Aion some years ago. The lack of quests between level 30 and maxlevel was horrible. Was a good try but didn't fit in the purposes of a gaming community outside of asia. And the korean guys have different view on ingame shops. Most of the games there are coming with a huge ingame shop enviroment.
For me the only competitive game for world of warcraft was RIFT. And i tried them all. Warhammer, AOC, AION, Teso Online and none of them gave me the same feeling like world of warcraft.
I don't think that graphics is the most important thing for a good game. For me (and i don't play it anymore since years) world of warcraft is still a good game. Several reasons for that. The open world for example. Where you can fly around many hours without having a loading screen. No instanced servers like in other enviroments and all that stuff.
The problem with the games today is, that almost nobody wants to level anymore. Everybody is rushing as fast as possible to the maxlevel and is trying to reach the endgame content. The developers focus more on quests and story and all that stuff so many people get bored when they reach maxlevel. That was the dying point in warhammer for me for example.
