I haven't played too much (about two hours or so), but it feels amazing. I had really good gear before 2.0 so I haven't, and most likely won't, find an upgrade at level 60. So, I will probably wait til RoS to really dig into it.
I think having the ability to trade with people in your group, when you got the item, is great. However, I realize that alot of the community wants to take trading further. Moldran posted a video about the BoA items, and one of his suggestions iirc is to be able to trade with guild/clan members for a time of like three days. Something along these lines I think would make a nice middle ground between people who are for BoA legendary, items and those who are against it.
There were so many cool legendaries I found at Blizzcon =D
A 2 handed sword that would deal 100% weapon damage to targets up to 40 ( more or less ) yards in front of you.
One ( was either a belt or bracers) that had a HUGE proc chance to do an aoe charm on hit. I was constantly having demons follow me around like pets.
There was a ring as a possible bounty award for act 1 that reduced the amount of set items needed for bonuses by 1. I think that one is going to be popular =P
I was too busy having a blast with adventure mode to commit more to memory, but zomg actually cool legendaries + having every waypoint / act / miniboss / boss / event active at once in a game ='s I'm never getting anything done in my life, ever.
I'm so jealous. I hope it isn't too long before we can all get our hands on RoS:)
Edit: To OP we will just have to wait more. I haven't heard anything about the stars since Gamescom either. My guess is they have much more coming with loot 2.0 than they are showing right now.

So, the only thing we know for sure, is that the current season will continue for at least two more weeks. Beyond that is anyone's guess.
