If you want to see what a proper Diablo experience is, this might be a great opportunity.

So after all the nerfs to Thorns, is it even viable at this point or was it just that much ahead that it needed to be neutered in order to bring it in line with the other classes? Same could be said about Firebirds too, really.

I'll wait until the new season starts before jumping in on all the details. It must suck to be spoiled about all the changes and new features months in advance.

Or wait a day or two until seasonal rushes start popping up and you're 70 before your level 20 skills update on screen.

Nov 28, 2015Fungineering posted a message on Blue Posts on Reddit, Desolacer's Melee DH for Patch 2.4Posted in: News
There was no way Blizzard could have made a melee Demon Hunter due to the limitations of the DH ability tree. They would have to totally rework it in order to have melee abilities rather than focus on abilities which do not require a bow. All this is is a glorified version of the old, clunky, do more for less melee build which used the same gear and abilities.
There is no reason for me to play this over an actual melee class (or any class) even though it's 'new'. Slapping numbers like 40,000% is like putting lipstick on a pig.

The fact that it only had one panel whereas every other Blizzard product has two or more gave me the impression that nothing ground breaking would come out of Blizzcon when they first showed the list. Just more fluff which will have the lasting appeal of an apple left on the counter.
Move along, nothing to see here...

Necromancers bring more to the table than just a new class. The lore surrounding the Priests of Rathma is directly tied in to the Eternal Conflict due to the teaching of Balance by Trag'Oul so we'll eventually find ourselves in a position where the balance of Light and Dark must be preserved.
Druids have a tree.

Did the ever say as to whether the issue is caused by density + damage = lots of calculations taking a toll on their servers or is it an amalgamation of problems in general once you hit a certain threshold?
Maybe they should call up Grinding Gear Games and ask them how they pulled off their Lock step system.

When I am not grouped with my friends or clan, I sooner play solo than public because most pub games involve two jackasses who AFK which breaks the vote-to-kick system and expect a free ride.

I doubt it's worth sitting through that interview given how arrogant and ignorant the development team are in regards to the current state of the game. A couple softball questions to feign interest in the community but either dodge all the hard questions or trump them with a blanket 'we know what's best' when they rarely do.

I don't see the point in altering legacy items which only affect non-ladder play. It's never been a problem before if emphasis is put on seasonal ladders to use as a measuring stick of performance.
But yes, lets cave to those who are butthurt about precious non-ladder play where everything's made up and the points don't matter.

They should introduce Druids secretly. Like, all the sudden you're in the Blood Fields and you hit a tree. *POOF* WHY DO YOU DISTURB MY SLUMBER! and then he flies away in a tornado in Werebear form.

Good Good, glad Crusader are getting a new set at some point...
I wonder what it'll buff. We've had Akkhan to buff AC, Roland's to buff Shield Bash... Maybe a Hammerdin set?
God that would be amazing...

They'll either buff the Wastes set or nerf the IK set. Although since this is Blizzard, they'll likely nerf both and buff Demon Hunters.

After they nerfed the Blood Golem + Iron Maiden and Amp Damage + Corpse Explosion build I usually stayed with Bone spells strictly for PvP. I tried a Novamancer on several occasions but never really fell in love with it and never played Summoner beyond level 12 for niche PvP.
The best part was going in to the cow level, casting Bone Prison or Bone Wall and hear the hostile sound several times because it would ruin the mob density and often meant crowded portals. I really loved to stir the pot back in the day...

I'll be playing on US East. Not sure if it'll be classic or expansion though as I've always preferred classic since it puts more focus on farming god-tier rares rather than runewords and uniques.

Nice! I'll be playing when the new season starts so I'll poke one of you guys for an invite when that time comes pending any open slots.

Hey fellas!
I'm interested in the idea of being a support character for my group of closed friends but I am in a conundrum as to which offers easier accessibility, playability, and longevity.
The first point, accessibility, being in regards to the gear required in order to achieve their respective lockdown abilities to be applied 100% of the time or as close to as possible. From my understanding, a WD requires a perfect rolled mask as well as SMK in order to provide lockdown and party buffs whereas a Crusader simply needs a shield, some crafted sets and stacking CDR so maybe I answered this part of the question.
My second point and easily most subjective is playability. Does Condemn with Vacuum feel better than Piranhado? Does SWG trump AC? Is the range of Blind easier to apply and maintain than Horrify?
Lastly, is there any area where one pulls ahead of the other or do their own inherent abilities make them equally as strong in their own way throughout greater rifts?
Lots of questions but would appreciate any feedback since I am having an internal battle of comparisons. What I fall back on is that the WD has more build variations than the Crusader in the event that I want an offset since I hate Steed Charge and I'd like to try something other than a Condemn build.

I've recently hit 70 on my WD and am wondering whether or not an old build I used to use is still viable for, well, solo/party greater rifts in this case. It's a combination of spawning in Sycophants through Plague of Toad spam and Poison damage while offering multiple methods of control and escape if there is any downtime on Wall of Zombies, Jaunt, and Piranhas.
This is the build in question and I switch out Soul to Waste to Languish on Soul Harvest whenever I feel the need to and I only have the smite and poison damage gem.
It works fine in T1, but anything can I suppose, but it's nice to have all of these available to me and the end result is being unhindered by mobs or bosses while I peck away at their health.
