I don't think players should worry about what's being exploited in this regard, or how some players may get further ahead because they operate in well organized groups. So long as the game is fun, fresh and re-playable for the next 178 years (whatever).
Exploits are exposed with ridiculous speed these day (thanks to our streamer pals). Such things will be fleshed out as they emerge. Concern yourself not with these matters. Only be concerned about how fun this shit looks to be.

I wish this game actually felt like a sequel to Diablo II instead of its own thing. I just feel like Jay wanted a "clean slate" after the fallout of Blizzard North's collapse. It's a slap in the face to all of the fans and I still have bad blood about it. I know it's their game, but Blizzard lore is legendary in itself.
While I also wish that D3 was more of a direct sequel to D2 (I loved how the Barbarian was supposed to be the same one originally and was disappointed they backed off on that), I'm not really sure Blizzard's lore was ever very legendary for the Diablo series.
Speaking for myself, I never felt particularly attached to "Sanctuary" as a cohesive world, and I never felt like there was much back story but for a few characters (like Tal'Rasha. But, who was Sigon? Trang-Oul?).
That said, I do feel like D3 was a missed opportunity to develop some sound lore, and the reconning the Dark Wanderer was just a shame. -

Anyway, I am hoping the next expansion (i.e. after Reaper) will give us the ability to respec into different fighting modes or something. Maybe the Demon Hunter could become a melee Assassin? Maybe the Monk could exchange some of his melee abilities for mind-based ranged attacks? Maybe the Barbarian could be more Spartan (e.g. spear/ranged attacks with shield and limited melee)? Perhaps the wizard could buff others with arcane magic, or have the ability to wear magical armor to defend herself in melee range (e.g. Arcane Warrior in Dragon Age)? Just an idea. -

Jinshin posted a message on Maltheal not Death? Lore Speculation (Spoilers?)An interesting observation I've read is that Tyrael's sword, El'druin, passes straight through Malthael. It is said in the Book of Cain that El'druin cannot harm anyone or thing of righteous intent. Just something to think about.Posted in: Lore & Storyline - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
