I can't give you a general answer; it depends on your build!
Zombie dog dmg is probably only useful if you go for a Tall Man's FInger build, otherwise they are tanks/distraction and/or leech life for you, so another stat would be more beneficial.
Gargantuan damage can be used for a fire/wrathful protector build for example, it deals tons of burst damage but is not very reliable atm due to the gargantuans pathing errors. Once this is fixed it might be more viable again. I used it during the beginning of the expansion to farm t2-t3 since not a lot of gear is needed to make it work.
If you use neither, it will probably be better to roll for something more beneficial depending on your current build.

May 26, 2014With this build the dogs are just there to take damage for you. If you get some life on hit I would go with that, I feel the extra 10% are okay but it is even better to have some life on hit on them, for versatility. For more survivability I think I would reroll your Piranha damage on chest and shoulders into vit. Piranhado is not really used to deal damage, you use it to group things up to be able to use acid cloud everything, I guess. The shoulders could actually be replaced by decent yellow ones if not for the set bonus which you aimed for. Your mask rolled well but doesn't have a "special effect", so once you find another helmet (helmets are really what make wd builds imo) you could easily change the shoulders, maybe for a well rolled yellow even.
I think if you go from there you will do t2 like a breeze and soon find other interesting items and upgrades.

-Skills that they use when you have them on your bar: Zombie charger, grasp of the dead, haunt, locust swarm, spirit barrage, soul harvest.(2.0.5: also rain of toads, Piranhas...) why don't you try for yourself? (No big cd abilities like bbv or mass confusion)
- They don't have a mana limit, thus they can spam expensive skills like zombie bears
- It has been reported that they even share your equip and proc your legendary affixes (thunderfury confirmed)
- if you use haunt with draining spirit, your mana regen will skyrocket as they cast it multiple times, allowing you to spam whatever spender you have
- pre 2.05 their damage was about a third of mine for each mimic

I have also experimented with Angry Chicken in a physical build and came to a similar conclusion: a lot of fun and speeds up lower torment farming. Especially the fun part seems to be neglected often...
It's also fun with Mad Monarch's, as you are up in their face all the time anyways.

Have you done math based on the damage you deal? I just want to get this right for the compendium I'm working on. As I said, saw people in other threads who claimed 6 piece JH takes 1 minute of the dots as a base. The most important thing is to understand that Quetz effectively doubles the damage for that set, but I'm still interested in getting that right.

Wall of Zombies - Offensive Line. I use it all the time since I picked up the bracers with 30%. The good thing about wall is it also knocks back bigger minions that are not affected by other skills. Also I came to love this skill to block certain doors or hallways :-)Quote from FearAzrael
