You literally stated the problem in your own comment. Gearing up a character in a week is a terrible state for this game to be in. Set items are extreme end game stuff and you get all the pieces off of Kadala in a few hours of "gameplay". How is that even fun? How is spending 30 secs of actually playing the game going to help make it better? RiF is along the same lines of the AH. It allows people to avoid playing the game while at the same time letting them reach the endgame. I have never been able to understand why you would spend money on something just to avoid using it. The point of the game is to farm for gear while killing monsters, that's the definition of an action RPG. RiF/Kadala is bringing the game down. I truly hope that something is done about it in the upcoming patch. I'm not advocating for such increases that we have to use 2 handers, but a slight damage buff over 1Handers + offhand is reasonable to ask, and I'd ask they directly use the +Damage weapon affix when calculating damage range and DPS, and make damage ranges visible. -

I am 100% NOT a plant. I have been consuming information on this forum as well as MMO-Champion for years, I just felt it was time that I had something to say for once that I would contribute to a community that has given me so much over the past few years.
Don't let my positive attitude and overall enjoyment throw your view of my post...I just feel like not enough people spend time talking about the positive things for ANY topic. Internet forums have become a place where people merely vent frustrations and that can be counterproductive. Constructive criticism is what sites like these should be all about, and to me that includes positive feedback.
I am not in the gaming industry as anything other than someone who has enjoyed playing video games for 25+ years, and I am in the user experience field so I have perhaps, and elevated awareness of such attention to interaction design and I can admire it in an objective way as Blizzard has done a solid job with the console.
I never got into my marketing, philosophical, or otherwise disagreeable stance on the way Blizzard has rolled out D3 as a whole...but that isn't my place to say as I don't consider myself to have all the details and never will. I'm just an observer who is enjoying playing the game and wanted to tell everyone about my experience.

Looks pretty awesome so far. It would be cool to add elements from all the Diablo games. Being a huge Diablo fan would love to see fire wall as a spell again. I think you should hopefully find some talent and start a Kickstarter page to get the funding needed. There are many ways today to get support. Wish I could help more, but my job is a voice engineer. Not on the gaming side of things. Although could always try to help with monster creation or storyline ideas. Just let me know.

On one hand the paragon we have now I focus less on my level then when it first came out when the cap was 100! At the same time, a sick part of me likes knowing it would be a huge grind to hit max level, such as d1 and d2. They flipped the script on that in d3. That being said the power gap above 800 breeds no lifing for levels and makes botters valid. 2 things I despise. I would love if they could rework it into something that synergized with skills or something along those lines. I really hope blizzard has an ace up their sleeve to bring something awesome to Diablo. This was and always will be my favorite series. I hope to still be saying that in the future.

It looks to be permanent bans, I just read on the demonbuddy forums and there are all these butthurt botters being like man, para 2100 GR86 crusader RIP and well didn't matter I wasn't even playing anymore. They are posting official account closure notifications also in their thread, I recommend to hit up their forums if you want a good chuckle! I guess one guy said he hasn't played in a month either, so seems like their detection has gone back some time, which is good. RIP to all the dbag botting scum!

Thanks for taking the time to put some ideas together. Some of those I really like, but bleu42 brings up some valid concerns. I think it would be nice to have a slider for the TX Difficulty to scale up, let's say it goes as high as your highest gr solo completed. This way you can farm mats and get more Xp. Melting t10 is fun, but that progress bar hardly moves at higher paragon. Overall voted for some of your ideas.

My clan only exists of some close friends, but I can add you if you want someone to run with. I'm paragon 615, I don't do high tier GRs, only mid 40's myself, some 50's in group. We like to keep it chill, use Skype, cuss and swear, and yes I play blitzed also sometimes. So I'll shoot you a friend request. Always looking for more fun players that don't get super serious.
