The FO changes aren't that big of a deal. The skill still works as it did before, just a smaller radius and lower chill effect. I'm totally fine with that.Quote from Crumplezone
15 % damage reduction on all sources on crusader? Oh thank you god.
30% would have been nice, but I see the 15% reduction as a middle ground by blizzard especially considering Crusaders are not fully geared out yet, this is excellent and I hope this means I stop getting my health annihilated by magic attacks so badly from magic orientated groups in t2 and above.
Oh and the tears to come from all the FOTM frozen orb wizards, I just can't wait to see, mm, delicious.
Also really sensible changes to crafting mats especially on rares, it means its going to be more feasible to craft yellow upgrades with not requiring death's breaths and no more FLAWESS GEMS in crafting recipes! My god thats quality of life change or what.
I do think that the big wins for the day are:
1. Increased Crusader toughness.
2. Increased Crusader dps
3. Crafting quality of life improvements.

Little community events could be fun.
Ex. Create a leaderboard for the highest kill streak in a cow level, leaderboard for the most gold collected in the Vault, special vanity pet if you kill 1 million zombies in October, etc.

I like the idea of rank 75 abilities, but that won't help some gems, that have a 50 max level. I also think that they should be more aligned with adventure stats than anything that is really required for dps or toughness.

No. You can't change the default UI in that sense.
(Unless this was a feature added in the last patch that I don't know about.)

2. I prefer not to use mats to make mats, but that would be the faster way to do it.
4. I want to assign auto-pickup because I hate when stacks of stuff layer each other and I can get the one thing I want without picking up everything else. I don't want to pick-up everything, but I would like to auto-grab gems, crafting mats, and certain set/leg pieces that I am trying to get ancient drops for.
5. If it can't be automated, then I would like to see an option to bulk salvage legendaries so I can clean that stuff out faster. Use a cube-like interface for that so I drop in what I want to blow away. This would prevent me from accidentally salvaging something I did want to keep in inventory.
7. The gem idea was just trying to think outside of the box for allowing more diversity in builds without players feeling locked into specific skills.
9. I think that is my old WoW hunter side coming out again. I liked to use my pet to setup for placement, traps, distance, etc. I understand the desire to rely on AI, but it's just not the same.
10. Dare I say that my idea is...gold?

Geez, I don't know if I'll ever get to plvl 1000 or gem level 100 with how often I play. I can't help you but I'm interested in knowing what the community has to say.

1. Add a DPS meter
2. Allow for you to convert mats without the need for the item. (white to blue without needing a blue)
3. Take mats and place them into global currency (like gold or shards).
4. Set parameters for automatic pick-up and gear salvaging.
5. Reduce the bounty requirements for solo players.
6. Creation of random in-game events. Ex: Half-way through a bounty an RG will spawn. You have to kill it before the bounty becomes unlocked again.
7. Legendary gem that changes damage type of spenders and primary skills. Gem of the Elements: Primary: Your gem increases the elemental damage of your attacks by 5% increasing 0.4% per rank. Secondary: Place this gem into the cube with 10 flawless royal gems will embue you with an aura that makes all of your attacks that elemental type (10 ruby = fire, 10 sapphire = ice, 10 emerald = poison, 10 topaz = lightning, 10 diamond = physical, 5 ruby + 5 topaz = Holy, 5 emerald + 5 sapphire = arcane). The gem is consumed in this action and the damage bonus to the element is lost.
8. Follower sets and more slots for gear.
9. Pet control options (like for WD Dogs, not cosmetic pets).
10. I want it to rain down gold on everyone when I login to D3. I don't mean that I want it to rain down when anyone joins...only me. Think of it like the fireworks in Johnny Dangerously.
*starts raining gold*
"Hey fellas! Looks like Thorn is going to play..."

Finally, be careful about running in an open group on consoles. A lot of people hack and dupe gear so you might start a rift and end up with a thousand paragon points you didn't want. Only run with people you trust will be honest to the mechanics of the game, if that is what you desire as well.

meto5000, thanks for posting these in one spot. I've used all of those on my own, but I agree that d3planner is the king of them when you want to see the whole picture.

All, we need to be helpful, regardless of how the OP felt about gaining the levels before he/she quit that game.
If you do not want to use the levels, then take gamesaredead's advice and start over. P100 won't take you that long to reacquire. Also, if multiplayer is your thing, then make sure that you only play in games with other people who have committed to not cheating the system. You can ask around on the forums here to match with folks that will play honestly. Don't leave your games open to joining if you don't want the potential for a cheater to join.

I like the idea. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks for the information Wudijo! I was wondering if the effort I was putting into gems would pay off and it looks like it will. I still have 1700 GRift keys to burn so I might was well spending them on getting stronger.
