Legendaries do have rarity. Some legendaries are designed to be really rare, while some should drop more often. Now you are just kind of unlucky with getting just those.
From the business side of things.. I really don't get why they did this. There is not a single hugely interesting thing in the DD edition for players who aren't active in WoW.
And the CE box is even worse.. I don't know many true PC gamers who still don't use a specialized mouse mat or at least have a favorite mouse mat they could not be without.
Oh well cheap wings this time around. Though will prolly still use the D3v wings anyways.
So you can't buy/trade gear with strangers anymore? How exactly is that worth quitting over? The game is designed around self-found now and you can trade up to 2 hours in groups.
I wouldn't really consider the duration nerf.. but the absorb amount compared to total HP pool and damage taken, it just does not do enough to deserve a slot atm. Unless you have crazy defences.
I don't really see the need to buy anything right now.. At least on EU side, everything is really expensive still, even less than perfect ones. What you are suggesting would end up costing around 200-500 mil on EU. And you do get really good items when they launch the prepatch quite quickly.. even if it lasts only 1-2 weeks, you can probably upgrade every non-godtier item you got at the moment. Also as Mystic is a RoS only feature(at least atm), you will not be able to reroll before RoS activates, so you are willing to nullify every lead you would gain with those less than perfect items, by rerolling them for 2 hours. And it won't matter for long anyways as it won't take a long time at all to level to 90..
What you should really worry is the level 90 as it's where things really go up in difficulty for us Wizards, mostly cause our healing is really bad atm. And that means almost none of our level 60 items will have enough defences to compete at that level. Some of our items will have higher dps though, but as Wizard survivability is the main issue on the Beta atm, you can't really use your old gear at all, unless they got good defencive stats.
That's my view on current state of Beta for Wizards at least, but things do have to change a bit at least till they go to 2.0 on live.
Was bummed at not getting an RoS key, they all stoked with the PTR! Then bummed I can't try adventure mode / bounties / rifts

Yeah. Was gonna level a new character, but without adventure mode, there's no way I'm gonna go through the story 4 times again.
Doesn't difficulty scale to your level now? So you could just run around 1 zone and remake a game if you wanted to level without going through acts and stuff
My 12 friends on EU doenst see or have gotten any mail. I think its either A. Trolls or B. Sluggish connection over att Blizz right now.

You get notified by email about receiving closed-beta access? Duh... I've spent the better part of the day refreshing my Battle.net Account tab in vain hope...
I didn't in closed vanilla beta, So I doubt it would happen now either. Then again am really doubtful I would get Beta myself as haven't played D3 a lot since my first Paragon 100.
From what I picked from Beta, whites and blues didn't really change their status.. you pick the ones you need at the end of the runs and DE them for mats, but generally you just dodge them. And if you don't plan to craft you don't really pick em up. And given beta has accelerated legendary drop rate, enchanting legendaries will be a lot more rare, hence with good gear. You will most likely just ignore whites and blues again.

Possible, though 1 full year of 5.4 for WoW seems quite unlikely seeing how mad people were abt Dragon Soul.. But then again it's their business to run the way they want to. Heartstone is prolly gonna be launched pretty fast, at least open beta or something. The game is basicly bug free(there are some, but those are easily fixed), so only thing they got to worry now is card balancing and server stability(which shouldn't be a problem as they got so much exp from it)
My prediction would be HS (open beta/release) fairly late september to october, D3 some point during spring and WoW late summer.. Could be wrong though, but seeing as they have hinted before that loot 2.0 is after blizzcon some point and now it seems to be in the pre-patch to expansion, it might just very well be that we get to enjoy new stuff in D3 faster than most of us expect.

Plus also considering a non-LoH weapon atm, but its need more than 1225 dps and high haste(1,53+) and 60%+ crit hit damage and a socket.
