So... are they not buffing sets like Vyr's, MotE, Shadow?

I'm sure people would complain about not being able to play the way they want without finding the runes that drop, but right now I read complaints about how the game is too streamlined and easy. Its time for something fresh.

I love the normalized weapon range for each weapon type. That would pretty much eliminate BiS gear. I like the idea of having my Barbarian using an ilvl 63 Butcher instead of Skorn or maybe even a Boulder Breaker. Like you said, it would come down to what makes each legendary different instead of just most DPS.
Love those extra affixes too. In other games, I'm a +Attack Power glutton. lol

But that's a different thread...
Elendiro, if they implemented Intelligence how I suggested, they could change the default damage type of most spells to compensate, like for example, Spectral Blades could be Arcane damage instead of physical. Would still make sense and Wizards would still increase its damage.
Now, if you wanted to make a Melee Wizard, like they bragged about so long ago, stacking a bunch of Strength/Dexterity and using a rune that changed Spectral Blade to physical damage would be possible too.

Personally, I would like to see a complete revamp of the main stats. Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence should be more appealing to all classes.
Strength should be increasing all melee damage, not just Barbarian damage. Along with that it should increase block chance, a bonus to crit damage, and keep the current bonus to armor rating.
Dexterity should be increasing ranged physical damage. And then of course some of the fun DPS stats, like attack speed and crit chance. The defense stat would still be dodge chance.
Intelligence should be increasing elemental damage dealt. This would still increase Wizard and Witch Doctor damage because everything they cast has an elemental property. Along with this should also be an increase to resource regeneration/decreased resource cost and a bonus to damage of resource spenders. Elemental resistance would still stay as well.
Now, Vitality is good as is, but I feel like they could decrease the amount of life it gives. I would also hope that they change monster HP/damage output scaling in line with this. I like to see big numbers, but not so that I can't tell if its 100000 or 1000000.
I could keep going but I'm on my phone so typing sucks.
Lend me your thought, I know you guys have them.

I kinda hope they go back and reevaluate every skill and rune combination. Frenzy used to be awesome and I miss it being that way.
It's like a bitter ending to a really serious relationship lol.
I'll give it a try once I start doing Paragon levels on MP and elites don't die in 5 seconds.

@Tequila, you know, I actually used to have Leap in my build along with Furious Charge. Was really, really mobile! I might use it again. What rune do you think fits Leap for a berzerker? Toppling Impact? Death from Above?
@Aldoran, I like the shouts, ALOT! Do you prefer a 2H weapon over two 1H? I go with dual weild and would like to hear (read?) more!
@vingor, not too worried about farming high MP right now. I think I'm going to just have fun until the itemization patch hits. Then gear out. I'm so torn about how to make this guy feel awesome! I could either go no Fury Spenders with the Berzerker Rage passive, or take the life regen runes from Frenzy and Rend to keep health up. I could go AoE Zerker with Seismic Slam and the Strength from Earth rune. Just not sure. What do you think?
A couple things that I know I want this build to revolve around also are these:
Frenzy ability
Axes
Single Target, but not be completely useless against large hordes

So, I'm leveling a new Barbarian right now and want to start gearing him to actually "feel" like a berzerker. I don't need this guy to be a super BiS Barb, I just want what's feels fun, 'cuz that's how I like to play mah D3. I don't use the AH and only use items that I craft or find on other characters.
My request is just some input: How would you build a barbarian to actually feel specialized in being a berzerker? If you would like to suggest abilities (w/ runes), gear affixes or comment on some ways that I might achieve this, please feel free!
My idea of a berzerker is as follows:
Somewhat low HP for a melee class, but higher evade/resist.
High crit chance and attack speed
Life regen, either through abilities or basic attacks (like a bloodthristy savage)
High mobility
A focus on single target damage
Build I've considered using so far would be this:

Please leave feedback if you like!
Thank you!

Melee DH's are just so outside of my thought zone, but now I'm intrigued.

Whiners will continue to play and continue to blame Blizzard for everything that greedy customers do and D3 will go on.
Anyways, new patch is awesome! I love all the changes. Especially that I don't have to carry all the items on my character to craft anymore and can remove the notice for salvaging rares. Super appreciated little changes there!

I am new to the Diablo world, meaning I haven't play deep into D2:LoD. I only played to about level 10 with a friend until we both got access to the D3 beta. I got the D3 collector's edition on release night and played until I was falling asleep at the computer.
I actually quit shortly after Paragon levels were released and returned shortly after I read some comments from Travis Day. I was so disappointed with the direction the game was going until I read some of the changes that were planned. I even went so far as to delete my characters before hand.
So nowadays, I am leveling every class to 60 in anticipation of the itemization patch. Taking my time and exploring maps as much as possible and going for some achievements.
If anyone wants to maybe play at a relaxed pace and level some characters, my ID is Artemus#1376.
Glad to be a part of this fansite!
