Shields might make a return for some with new multiplayer buffs. Glass cannon ranged classes could play a higher monster power if they have a tanky shield barb or monk holding most of the monsters back for them. The constant dps bursts from casters would greatly out weigh the small dps loss from the offhand of the tank. If you're running, you're not attacking.
Of course this would be pointless for top tier geared players and some builds like cm. But archon will be making a huge return with the buffs to the timer, so i would rather be melting shit rather than running from it. And what ever happened to having fun? who cares if the build isn't optimal.......
Also it's only softcore that has this problem. look at the hardcore auction house.... 7 pages of innas temperence last time i looked. only a handful of cc mempos. not even a page worth. not even a 5cc to be found. Not much goes to waste in hardcore. Much more rewarding as far as gameplay goes imo. especially if you bump it up to mp 2 - 3 and do selffound.
So many d3 fanboys criticize PoE on screenshots and didnt even try the game. Every single PoE player played d3 though, and can objectively criticize on d3.
I've played both. PoE got boring quick. Made it to act 3 cruel, then went back to grinding d3. It's all a matter of opinion. In my opinion PoE is a ripoff with no fresh ideas. I've played all these games before, why would i play them again?
Any game will get boring if you grind the shit out of it. Everything is good in moderation, including moderation.
I don't think they are going to release any major content until the release of the expansion. Maybe small things, yes. But iI wouldn't hope for any major changes.
If they release a bunch of content they have planned for the expansion, it in my opinion will take away from the upgrade the expansion would give. I would rather have more content than i know what to do with all at once, rather than having a tiny bit that i totally destroy in a week, four times a year. I have no problem with cutting down my gameplay to casual until the release. There are other things in life than the anticipation of itemization.
Not trying to flame you Brandon, if you took it that way. I totally agree with you on this. I thnk this game is very good, but those are some lame ass answers for hand picked questions.
Add a ladder with no auction house and exclusive items. Keep the Auction house in existing game. Both sides are happy everybody wins. SImple problems call for simple solutions. Surprised ladder hasn't been introduced yet. Ladder items would reduce the cost of every other item in the game because they would be better. Sure there would be botting in ladder mode but it would take them time to start up again every ladder reset. Starting from scratch every time. And hardcore ladder mode. bye bye bots.
Not sure how it would balance out, im no game designer. Seems pretty logical to me though.

Maybe alkaizer and your buddy didnt realize that PoE is in beta still and doesnt even have act 4 yet, plus full of bugs and constantly crashes.
