Ive got the same problem. The workaround I found that worked for myself is do everything in Act 2 Town. All UI's function properly there for me. All other towns are borked.
And so would the players.
I have no issues with Paragon as it is. At least I can pound out some paragon while looking for said item that I may never find. At least I can advance my GR level using paragon instead of relying totally on that item I need which may never be found. Running GRs for Xp...who cares. Many who do that have BIS gear anyway. Whats the point of playing if your stuck on GR X until a new patch comes out and now GR Y is the new top. I could care less about the top 1000 or 10000 on the leaderboards. I want Blizzard to post all rankings of everyone on the GR Leaderboards. I may be ranked 1,000,000 but if I can pound out a few Paragon or maybe find the missing BIS I can do a GR and be ranked 999,999. I see myself moving up the ranks amongst the shitty players like myself.
If you'd have asked me this during the first 3 seasons, I probably would have agreed. However, now they've finally added a legit addition to season: the journey. This is actually fun and gives you extra stuff to do.
Play with some friends when the season starts, you'll be up to your previous gear level in a matter of (very fun) weeks.
I agree. I don't know why but Im really enjoying the Journey Achievements. Gives me something to do. What I do wish would happen is that bliiz posts all rankings of people in the leaderboards. Ill never be top 1000 but it would be nice to see if I could advance from 75000 to say 50000.
I dont worry about the cheaters on console but I play with only friends so its not an issue. I doubt it will get addressed at all as there are no leaderboards/seasons to worry about. FInd a group of people you trust and play with them. PC cheaters are pretty low but there are still bottors and the perverbial leechers you will have to deal with. You also have the always online issue that you dont have on console. Doesnt matter on Softcore but is a pain in the ass on Hardcore when you die to disconnects. Each has pro's and cons.
But ranged doesnt stop DPS'ing when avoiding damage. Sentries/Pets are just a few examples I can think of. Things dont die from a primary attack you do rather from the skills you use that keep attacking as you move to avoid damage. Melee has to stop pretty much all dps to avoid damage. A monk comes to mind on this. Most all his damage comes form close quarter skills. To avoid Electric I have to stop all dps and start over once the electric storm has ended.
Your out of luck. The "Mentor" option that is in console only works in SC. Blues stickied a post on BNet giving a warning to HC players in the console section about this so there wasnt a mass execution of HC players thinking differently.
Gotta love the irony here. People who want increased drops so they can find there own items in "X" amount of time are "Casuals" People who want rediculously low drop rates "For the longevity of the game" want trading because they cant find things so they can get the gear they want quicker are "Hardcore". They both look the same to me.
OP you need to read the ENTIRE list of changes suggested. I have a DH and yes I use preperation. Its needed NOW to kill quickly but holy cow we are going to get 1 armor for 1 Dex.You mean I may have a bit of survivability as my armor will more than double so I dont need to kill as fast because Im not made of paper. Good on Blizz to try to make other Runes more usefull instead of the same ole build for everyone. You act like Blizz are retards....fyi they are still in business and will continue to be in business.

Yep its a glitch. I have the same problem. I have been able to fix it sometimes by dropping sentries 4 and 5 in rapid succession.

Not totally sure but I think its a 32 bit issue. Worked until the Hotfix came out to fix the constant hard lockups.
