Unbuffed: 230 kDPS / 286 kEHP (~85.9% mitigation, but the armor buffs very quickly to 89.5%, rendering ~384 kEHP).
Saving some nasty packs (with speed, chains, dessecrator/molten and plagued), I don't die while out of Archon. Just for reference.

I'm one. I got the right stats only after the Archon Set Contest, and after comparing each single item/status with my old set. Then some issues clicked to me, like the low survivability, low mitigation and low critical damage. The weapon was the most important one.
And the build, you have to learn how to use it, and how to make yourself useful out-of-archon mode. That makes attack speed important in this matter, and in group play sometimes I drop out of archon mode so I can help on crowd control.

Sorry, it was not my intention to sound harsh or uneducated. I was intending to mock (on a good way) Jaetch for the "Soon" statement. And I already learned a lot from Jaetch and his Hybrid-Archon build. I've even said this on Jaetch's Archon Set Contest thread.
He is obviously doing a lot for our Wizard/Archon community for free (as in free beer) that nobody have the right to complain about how long it takes, and I know it.
Please accept my apology and let's not derail the thread. If anything was left without proper explanation, I'll be happy to exchange private messages with you.

Channeling skills do constant damage, and Life Steal does not suffer from "proc-i-ties", so you gain constant life in return. It works well with Blizzard (if you do some damage) and all channeling as the above.
Life Steal is also great with Archon, which is not the topic of this forum topic.

EDIT/Off Topic: Life On Hit versus Blizzard, an illustration:
If you have 1000 life on hit, and Blizzard's Proc Coefficient is 0.050, then you gain 50 life points per hit.
What I don't know is how many hits Blizzard ticks during its cast.

EDIT: I just watched it on a different network. Here I was able to watch the video by Net Virtua, but not from Oi Velox (different ISP's).
It may be a routing problem or Youtube replication.
EDIT2: The trailer is indeed very good. I think this will be THE guide. No pressure.
EDIT3: Now I could watch the trailer from the first (problematic) ISP. It seems the replication has ended.

Life Steal works better for Black Ice, Archon and Disintegrate builds than Life on Hit. Life on Hit works better for WW-based builds. In special because Black Ice does a lot of damage, and it can recover a ton of life.
LS on Weapon + Magic Weapon with Blood Magic would improve your survival. More armor too. Should I suggest you to try Ice Armor / Crystallize for a while and see if you can survive a little more ?

No gear advice from me, as I'm not an expert at all. But I think your weapon is a good one, and overall your gear could use a rework. Since you are not using a slow weapon, you must remain with the Stormcrow or a source with APoC, and, if you can, increase your critical hit chance, so APoC procs more often.

I saw a "Death Blossom" build a week or so ago, and I thought it was interesting. It should be good to see both in comparison.
