1. Lore, Blizzard does lore very well. I don't read much game lore books but, with Diablo I read all of the books in a course of a few weeks because of how amazing the story is.
2. Diablo is nostalgic
3. My fun doesn't depend on anyone else. I can play whenever I want, how much I want and with whoever I want.
4. I can drop insane amount of time into this game and never be finished with it. Currently sitting at my third most played game with a little over 3000 hours. (FFXI being my 1st.withabout17,000hrs)
5. Blizzards support for this game. The frequency of patches for this game this long after it was released is astonishing.
6. Slaughtering demons.
7. The thought that one day we might get to see Trag'oul or Inarius in a game.
I was running some more tests, I went to uninstall Diablo III again and realized D3PTR was still installed. After removing the PTR my game seems to be working normally again.
I am running into the same issue with Act 2 Desolate sands. This is really hurting my season experience as I cannot get the materials required to extract legendaries because of this bug. If anyone has any idea on how to fix I would be deeply appreciative.
From what i've tested it seems to be only certain areas within the map itself that cause this to happen; as I've entered from another route other than the waypoint into desolate sands. When I run towards the waypoint the screen freezes but gameplay continues. This has also happened during rifts. The only way I get my video back is by TPing and opening up my task manager.
I do not use turboHUD
I've tried windowed, Fullscreen, ect.
I've tried changing my graphic options around, even dropping resolution.
I use Vault, personally I can't really see any situation where SS would outperform Vault unless you're using M.bolts build. Vault has an invincible frame like combat rolling in Dark Souls; once you can abuse that Vault > SS all day unless you're mbolts.
Unfortunately Wizard doesn't have much group synergy at all. If you want to tackle the highest possible grifts a zdpsmonk/wd will be the best bet. Or something with a lot more control like a vacuum-condemn or stampede crusader. However condemn build gets a bit risky around gr38.
Lit. has better group damage, fire has better single target dmg in groups if someone is proccing trapped. Lit. is pretty much the best with optimal gear due to being invincible. If you plan on pushing the GR limits you need to go Lit. Ball/MBolts spec.
Bracer - Try and craft a decent pair of Reaper Wraps and/or find a nice pair of Steady Strikers
Weapon - Upgrade to Etrayu and aim for 2.84 ias breakpoint
Gloves - if you get lucky enough with trifecta tnt, personally I've found 5 and not one rolled cc or chd pretty upsetting.
Other then that I can't really help you without knowing what you are having issues with. Some Grift rolls are just not possible for a DH to clear at higher levels a lot of the people making high grifts generally spam them until they get an easy one.
Not many people actually queue under the greater rift tag. I spent most of my early season in public games and if you wanted to find a grift group you queued under Rift tag and asked if they wanted to grift. Also at this point in the season I'd doubt many people would be playing at a T1 level.
I don't know how true it is but I've heard that your sentrys need to be the distance away from the enemies as well for it to work. If that is the case then it's a deal breaker for me I'll keep bane.
No way to target dropped legendaries. The only thing you can do is farm faster and more effectively. The amount of time it takes someone to obtain a torment set completion varies on the persons farming capabilities. Time management and playing on a difficulty level you can handle are important in farming effectively. Also if you don't mind playing with people there are a lot of communities out there that do 4 person loot share groups.
