The question to ask is what role in customization charm would fill that is not already filled by leg items? Maybe some cool/wierd secondary effect that normally wouldn't be picked over dmg boosting effect from legs so it won't have to compete slots with powerful legs?
Exactly that, what If I dont want to use a Fate of the Fell as my 2Her for Holy shotgun? Well now I can because I just got a charm that gives me 2 additional rays of heaven's fury.
How Bout a charm that rolls the Thunderfury Proc? Now I can use whatever weapons I want that are the best.
How bout a charm that rolls the royal Grandeur ring bonus? The possibilities are endless, and by putting the orange texts on the charms, it frees up what gear you need to make certain builds work, because right now, there are a lot of builds that Require certain legendaries to make work, and that doesnt have to be
Unless it has its own inventory space...no. It was a horrible feature in d2 because of the inventory problem. Remove that problem and I think it would be nice but if it remained the same then it wouldn't be worth it.
An easy compromise would be limiting the amount of ID'd charms one could carry to a very limited number. Gheeds, Anni and Torch all had a firm limit of 1. No reason whatsoever that this logic couldn't follow into D3 charm restrictions.
This game needs more end-game item types. Charms would fill the void quite nice. Perhaps implementing them as Legendary charms would be the way to go? Making very powerful, multifaceted Legendary charms something to add a dynamic feel to the game.
Call it a charm, trinket, or whatever, but give everyone 1 or 2 of these slots, and make them a decently rare drop. They should have Roll a Primary Stat, and for the second slot, allow it to roll ANY orange legendary text currently in the game.
I don't post here much, but I wanted to share my Post Patch Holy build with you all because I haven't really seen to many people post any at all.
This build is really good for farming T3 and 4 with better gear (My crusader is really an Alt, I started playing him maybe 2 weeks ago, so its kind of easy to gear him up right)
The Build is Based off of Lots of Cooldown reduction of course, and Minimizing Wrath costs, so you have as High uptime on your big spender as possible
Left Click: Punish---->Retaliate: I really prefer high single Target damage for My generator, and the retaliate rune will do collateral damage to things attacking you with hardened senses up
Right Click: Fist Of Heavens------>Divine Well: The same Big spender holy builds have been using since before the patch, its still pretty awesome and does good single target damage now
1)Steed Charge-------->Endurace: Ive tried the other runes, but I like this one the best, use what you want though
2)Laws of Valor-------->Unstoppable Force: 50% Resource reduction is crazy good not having any set pieces
3)Heaven's Fury------>Ascendency: Hits like a truck, Blessed ground is pretty good too
4)Akarat's Champion--------->Embodiment of Power: The Extra wrath regeneration is pretty awesome, I toyed with this or using Prophet as a defensive CD
Passives
1)Heavenly Strength: Mandatory for a 2H build
2)Finery: Really nice STR buff now that it scaled with gear
3)Holy Cause:10% damage, who doesnt like
4)Long Arm of the Law: Makes this build awesome-Since the CD's on empowering the law got reduced, with my 47% CDR, the uptime on My empowerment is around 65%. So 65% of the time my spenders cost 50% of the wrath. If you use your CD's right the Wrath saved from this ability kicks the crap out of the wrath you would generate from Provoke over the same amount of time, and combined with the increased Generation from Akarat's Champion, makes you a complete unstoppable machine During Champion......
So thats the Build, I find this is working really well for me, I am actually going to test out a build that gets rid of the generator Completely and replaces it with Provoke
Gear: Since this is a mid torment build, your really flexible in what gear you need to make it work, The important thing is to eschew as much attack speed as you can in favor of Cooldown reduction, For My shoulders I can roll both cooldown reduction AND resource reduction, which is also a nice stat for this build. A Ring of Royal Grandeur with Captain Crimson's and Borns set is really nice for the CDR and Resource reduction
Wave of light Is completely amazing on the PTR If youre using a 2H build, It crushes spamming overawe. If you are using a TR build youll be swimming in spirit you can use both Mantra and Wave of light for high MP farming ( I can kill most elite packs in Under 15 seconds on MP6 on the PTR).
Ive been experimenting with an exploding palm/wave of light TR build too, Im not sure I like it, but when you pull it off just right the effects are amazing

Without an incense torch, fire is probably better, simply because of Cindercoat. Lightning is the very end end game tho as far as I know.

I wouldn't trust a Chinese app for an online game as far as I could throw it.
Add that to the fact that you are a brand new Poster on the forums
I'd be willing to bet all the Tea In China (ha) that you are out to steal accounts, you just need to go away from this board......now

If you just used blinding flash to snapshot you scored big time
If you use deadly reach plus blinding flash its probably still a buff since TR will hit so hard now
If you put together a whole separate set of gear.....youre taking a huge hit. Sell now while you can
Personally at my DPS level blinding flash alone was plenty so im doing the happy dance.
Your mileage may vary
