I think Diablo 3 will be a prequel to diablo 1. The game play will involve the horadrim and all three prime evils, and will also showcase the "sin war". Hey who knows...maybe the main character will be party up somewhere with Jered Cain. Theres more back story with Diablo that if its not Diablo 3..I'd like to see it as Diablo 4, but i think that requires a whole new fan site..
diablo 3 will not be unfolding the story after the worldstone destruction. It will be pre-diablo 1. It will have to do with mankind being involved in the war between heaven and hell...the "sin war" you can hear about this as far back as the story tomes in diablo 1.
a good friend and i took on lilith a couple days ago.
he being a lvl 88 ww barb with ik set
me being a lvl 79 ww barb with ik set
we each last about...10-15 seconds.
after a few hours of us clearing out the halls and 500k worth of pots and losing exp from about 50 deaths we called in my smiter friend who took her out in about 18 seconds. =)
