While we're at it. Is the templar even the best follower for 6WW/4IK? I saw DutchFreak using the enchantress, presumably to reach a higher breakpoint? What about the scoundrel and his skills that increase crit chance or dps? I guess if not for the crowd control, then the only benefits for the Templar are the heals and increased resource regen. Both of which are not amazing.
Well, the first error I found was that you are wearing a RoRG with all set pieces, but thats not for a templar... But from what I've heard/seen you'll need to give your templar the weapon Eun-Jang-something, but I don't exactly know why. #Helpful
Thanks, I was running T6 bounties, so I didn't really care about anything, other than 6ww+2bk for that. Forgot to swap back to my normal setup - will update to my normal grift setup when I get home from work.
I've got an Eun-jang-do and will try that too, thanks. Will try and roll IAS+CRD on all pieces too.
When I don't use double unity, I use a Justice Lantern to get extra block to proc the shield, but good idea with the Wyrdward, I will try that too - I guess I can just try and reroll damage to lightning on a fast main hand.
Just wondering what the best way to gear your templar is. Currently I am using a Bul-Katho's ring plus unity for grifts, along with an 80% Ess of Johan. I am using shield of deflection+Azurewrath to get a small chance to freeze, but I don't think I freeze the RG all that often. So I am wondering if there are other choices I could make to make things easier.
I am just wondering with which class it would be the easiest to beat GR50. Looks like DH has the most people who beat GR50 (my guesstimate from diabloprogress), but this number could also be biased by the number of players for each class.
I am playing barb right now (was playing M6-DH last season), and seems to me DH would be somewhat easier amongst the two, since you'd be able to kill the RG more easily.
You should reroll the CDR. If you have got a Ramladni's Gift, re-roll into 10% Dmg, If you haven't got a Gift, roll CDR into a socket, and when you get a Gift, roll the socket into 10% Dmg and apply the Gift.
IMHO 6Waste + 2BK is better for farming lower GRifts and T6, while 6Waste+4IK is better for pushing higher GRifts.
You really need the full sets for builds to shine. Should be fast to acquire in a group or use Blood Shards from your main character to gamble for the set pieces. If you don't have both BK weapons, I wouldn't chose dual wield over the ancient IKBB.
u should start farming the new UE set, its very easy to use and hits much harder.
but anyways on to ur current setup, here is what i would change
* drop that hellfire for an amulet with dex, cc, cd, socket
*change steady aim passive to cull the weak
* try to get resource cost reduction on glove
*do you need gold? if u dont, u should chage gem of hoarder to bane fo trapped
I concur with this.
IMO your biggest "mistake" is lack of resource cost reduction. That will keep you spamming cluster arrow = more DPS, since M6 is limited by resource generation.
Also, your helmet can roll cluster arrow %damage.
In the longer run, however, you should probably look into the UE and Natalya sets too. But you should definitely be able to farm low 40's pretty fast with that build. You are not far off.
I am gearing up a monk for a Dashing Strike // Raiment set build. Should I just craft an Ancient Sunder until I get a decent weapon (e.g. Furnace, Flying Dragon, etc)? Any ideas for a placeholder?
You don't need to "find" an Xbow. At your gear level you should be able to craft a very good Arcane Barb within a day or two! Just farm some materials (really easy) and craft a bunch of Arcane Barbs.

I feel you, they are indeed rare!
However, a blue post said you can only put items found AFTER the patch in the cube collection. So no need pre-patch hoarding!

Thanks for the suggestions! Managed to clear 48 with this setup: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/andersx-2898/hero/13721178

Hi
I am trying to push my max Grift at the moment with a 6WW/4IK build: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/andersx-2898/hero/13721178

Gz on the find - I'm Jelly!

A good guide for a build that uses IKBB is the one on the front page: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/53986-6ww-4ik-gr50-55-whirlwind

My M6 DH: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/andersx-2898/hero/6205089 for reference
My FnR are definitely lacking, and I am still trying to get a better HF amulet. but until then I'm gonna stick with a normal amulet with top stats.

Awesome, thank you for posting this! Your gear doesn't show up, though.

Tell that to a lvl 1 male barbarian!

I like to use the Ess of Johan necklace for the crowd control proc.

I think not salvaging rares from caches is a bug though.
