I normally run storm armor and shards on mp 7 with minor deaths, but im finding if i try playing on 8-10 i struggle without changing to crystal shell or energy armor. Im unsure if its worth playing on those higher mp if i have to give up dps to survive. Im not sure if shards with energy armor grants more dps than storm with crystal shell or if its even worth playing those difficulties
I guess my biggest question would be at what aps and crit chance can you run shards with 20 or less ap on crit and outperform a wizard hat with additional ap on crit on a single target scenario
I've been considering switching my gems from int to vita and running storm armor shocking aspect on my cm wiz. Judging by these results though i may be better off just stacking more int and using energy armor. Is it even possible to hit the ehp threshold to survive without energy armor on mp10 or is that just a silly goal? My assumption was trading int for vita and allowing me to take additional hits with storm armor would still net me more dps than the additional int and energy armor
Thank you for the information. From the results it seems like mistral breeze is out performing wicked wind in most cases. Unless im not understanding the chart correctly. It also seems that ap on crit is a bigger boost to overall performance damage wise and shouldnt be underestimated
I've been following along with this topic. My question is if i had 2.5 aps with 45 crit chance and only 10 ap on crit. How much would i be improving my dps and nova/diamond skin uptime by increasing my ap on crit to 20, or even 30?
