posted a message on This is how you play the game
You do whatever you want.......bottom line.

Wanna be a softcore normal barb? Be my guest...that's your choice.

Wanna be a hardcore torment 6 crusader? Be my guest...that's YOUR choice.

Wanna just farm simple things and never really get to end game progression? YOUR CHOICE.

Wanna farm the hardest content and show everyone how strong/badass you are? YOUR CHOICE.

Wanna be the very best like no one ever was? YOUR CHOICE.

Wanna collect all the tmog items quickly in normal not torment? YOUR CHOICE.

Wanna just play the game solo or with friends? YOUR CHOICE.

    Bottom Line people....

Don't tell people how to play this game, don't tell people they are wrong for playing the game the way they do it. (Unless its an exploit ofc. :P)

I don't even do normal runs, and I see people literally "freaking" over the fact that people just want to play normal and that's it...

PLAY THE GAME THE WAY YOU WANT PEOPLE!!!! :o

Does it REALLY bother you that someone plays a lower difficulty then you?

Do you think also bashing people for doing so will create a solution? It won't.

I understand where some of you risk vs reward guys are coming from...I understand why you don't like it but as of right now...I simply cannot even think of even a logical reason why...you should bash/hate lower players for playing what they play on? Maybe they need too? Maybe they want too.

I respect you and you're opinion regardless of what you run and how you do it.

Ladders might bring some big risk vs reward bonuses here soon and maybe we will see an update?

Regardless, Blizzard needs to make the game friendly and fun for everyone. Not just you or me.

Its our game, not just yours or mine.

I apologize if I angered anyone, simply people need to know there's people that don't care how you play a game... as long as you don't cheat lol.

Last time, bottom line: Play the game however you want, seriously go nuts!

posted a message on Mira runs nerfed
While I am understanding of people getting upset about content getting nerfed, it was nerfed because it was gaining way to much xp.

Seriously we need to remember, this is a game about...you know...slaying demons.

Not killing the blacksmiths wife over and over for a single quest that gives more XP then anything.

    Quote from helpme123

The change that should be made is change it how they do with archon instead of nerfing it. Now Barb is back to D3V before double tornado, no one is using him.
I am still playing barb atm and rocking hard.

Barb needed the nerf in order to really make things balanced.

Barbs are suppose to generate fury then spend it and re-gain it again, not have infinite..

Also OP gave you a subscriber, view, like, and comment. If you wish to do the same with me id apperciate it.

Out with the old - in with the new! How can this seriously be a problem to anyone anywhere?
The only people who are upset that I could even imagine are...

    1. RMAH pay to win players for BIS gear.

    2. People who were all excited about being super OP at first are now not going to have to be the same as the rest of us...having to obtain new items.

    3. Complainers need something to complain about.

Seriously as you said, out with the old, in with the new.

That's an expansion for you, new content, new items, new process.

@MC: Your videos are really quite informative and you come across as a decent, calm guy. But on the forums you just lose your temper and it's eventually up to Blizzard to take action when you go beyond the rules. Sorry for the ban, but after a couple of rage posts it was kinda justified. Should've taken a deep breath and explained your point of view in humble words. That thread had great potential, now it might even get locked soon because it's not constructive anymore.

@Topic: This was more than obvious, and in all these threads asking for which level 60 items to buy now for RoS it was mentioned that eventually Blizzard will do something to prevent that legacy items are gonna be useful. Really, no one can say "didn't see that coming". Two more things:

    1) You say "if level 60 items are better than level 70 items, fix level 70 items first instead of preventing enchanting". Well, the reason why some legacy items are so good is just because they were absolutely broken and overpowered. There's nothing to fix at level 70, the problem lies within the level 60 itemization. Items like Mempo and Witching Hour are just too strong. It's just not possible to "fix level 70" and make people go away from a WH if you were even able to enchant that belt. I said it all along, enchanting legacy items had to be restricted in order to avoid these situations of keeping "broken" items. Just like with BoA, they went full tilt mode with no enchanting at all - but in this case, I can understand it.

    2) I can't believe some of the things I read over there. A few people are arguing they have a right to hold on to legacy items and enchant them because this is what they have been doing since F&F beta. Holy crap, whoever uses this as an argument should never get invited to a beta again. Any beta invite has huuuuuuuuge disclaimers that absolutely everything is subject to change. If you enter any beta, draw your conclusions, and prepare your live character with the assumption that the current state of the beta will look the same once the game is released, you simply don't understand what beta means. You're testing stuff, you've not been given a glimpse into the future to get an advantage over other people.

I personally welcome this change. Just like BoA I can see that a lot of people will be upset, but I think it's necessary. I was also relieved to see someone like INVIS posting in favor of this change - let's face it, he will probably lose dozens of billions due to this change, but he understands why this is the best solution.
This should be the guy who speaks for us, Not Manner.

Get ready for change, that is what an expansion does.

My gear wont be useful anymore....big deal...lol...

Farming game is suppose to be about farming and getting new things.

Not using these crappy D3V items, which will eventually be shit anyways even with re-forge

You know something, for a second I thought I was just on the D3 main website. I am not trying to be rude to anyone who says they won't buy the expansion, that is purely up to you and you're opinion. But seriously I think we all know how economics works...yes there is a greedy act going on...but seriously nothing is more annoying then complaining about a video game and knowing so much and being so passionate for it. Yet we can't have this kind of stuff happen in real life, where real money grab scams and real shit goes down. Its just a video game, drop it or buy it...simple as that and keep this on a good note..don't act like the D3 website posters...really turns me off. Sorry if anyone finds my post "offensive" or they disagree with me, its just my opinion but I think its ridiculous to whine and moan on a price tag.
Voicing your concern regarding a price tag is the one way to critize and set a standard for what you are willing to take as a customer.

Now you might not value your money, for whatever reason - maybe you didn't earn them - or maybe you just don't care.

But i think you don't understand ANYTHING about Economy, if you don't get the term "The Customer is always right".
No butts. No ifs. No "omg whiners". That's simple fact. CUSTOMERS. Supply the money.
The customer is always right, you are correct on that. I earn my money working full time. Monday-Friday. 6 am - 5 pm. I love this game and I will be paying Blizzard Entertainment exactly 60$ I have saved up on the side for my entertainment purposes. Sorry if you do not like the price tag and you can't afford it, but I will be playing it because I enjoy it and I think its worth the price tag. Simply because its pure fun/entertainment for me, now if you wanna go talking about greedy money grabbers Hammerpoint Interactive is a good place to start as well. But instead of going on and on about how bad they are, I simply do not support them by purchasing there product and moving on in my life to a better more entertaining experience. I just think its a bit silly to announce you wont be buying the expansion pack and trying to like rally up a group of people who agree as well. Again this is just my opinion, I respect yours and everyone's. Some people won't support a greedy company and that's fine...lol no need to attack me though I am not Blizzard.

posted a message on PTR 1.0.8 Patch Notes
So last night around 2:30 am, I woke myself up to play the PTR for just one hour.

I recieved 1 set item, Mighty Belt.

Act 1 - Wow what a change, something new and inspiring seeing all these monsters automatically made me just happy and made me go into a bloodfrenzy to kill every-single monster that got in my way. Halls of Agony was the best.

Act 2 - I see maybe not as much change, still it was none or less a great zone to go into as well. The waterdepths and desolate sands I can tell got a big improvement, 180-300 kill streak in both areas. Needs more testing probably and more mobs other places like Road of Arcanus and Before fighting Belia

Act 3 - Lol the scorpion packs don't really bother me, everything is fine here. Scorpion packs shouldn't be the main xp if anything bosses should be giving xp. Not tiny little pintchers. Act 3 is good.

Act 4 - Now this is where they will have to do some changes, as of right now there are PLENTY of elites unless I just got lucky in my one run, 5 elites on Spire level 1 alone. What I don't see is a whole bunch of white mobs though, act 4 will definitely need more density in order to keep up with any act.

Pony Level - I heard no changes where made, need to test this for myself.

Mutliplayer Changes - Joined a game with 0 people so not quite sure about whats going on with that, have to wait and see tomorrow.

ID all - Loving this feature, pick up everything and sell it. Might as well add an sell all rares button haha =).

AH Comparison - This feature as far as I know does not work yet, this will need to be fixed.

Conclusion - IM LOVING THIS PATCH. <3333

Just some fixes to be made, and put this on live servers RIGHT AWAY!

posted a message on "Ask the Devs" Round 2: Itemization - Answers (Part 2)
    Quote from Vulmio

All those requests for adding a socket to weapons just show how unbalanced that affix is. What about just nerfing emeralds (and rubies maybe) by at least 50% ?

And if they add a quest to add a socket to a weapon, I would like a quest that add 100% crit damage to an amulet or 6% crit chance to helms or rings...

Adding sockets NEEDS to be added too the game.

Its not about if the stat is unbalanced its the fact that we want to customize our characters too the limit.

I really hate the fact they added add socket then removed it, it was simply not needed on so many levels.

Its not like it should be "click" and pay 50k gold to add one, hell they could even make it a recipe drop for weapons..rings..gloves..chest, etc.

Maybe make it so we need to get 20 demonic essence for one socket...there should be 0 worries about making it unbalanced.

Its a freaking PvE game, it adds depth to customization, and it makes us have another thing on our list to do in our journey of Diablo.

Please for the love of Diablo, just add sockets. This alone would just make me so happy, beyond believe. The ONLY people who would not be happy is having BiS weapons that could sell for 250$ on RMAH...and Blizzard who would lose a couple of dollars (Like thats a big deal for millionaires..)

posted a message on What would you like to see next patch?
Hey guys, this is a topic about what would you personally like to see be added next patch. We got a long ways from the next one so lets incorporate some ideas and maybe we might just see them add it?

    Should reset/swap skills reset valor?
Recently there was a vote, it was about "Should Valor reset if you change/swap skills." I believe there was more No then Yes. In my opinion you should not be punished if you reset your skills as this is a way to promote build diversity and its the main reason why you even get loot. This should be discussed more as this could very well happen.

    Weapon Swapping.
As heroes of the sanctuary we should be as powerful as possible. For a long time now people have been going into their inventory to gear swap. How painful is that...open inventory click on the item and re-close it. What a yuck design we should NEVER have to open our inventory unless we need to sell/identify items! This would not only add more flavor to our heroes and their build diversity but it could promote using different weapon types and what stats are offered on them.

    Build diversity and you.
Our heroes have plenty of moves, but no where near enough slots to use them though. This is the hard part of making things still balanced but not turning people into OP machines and cookie cutters. We really only should have ONE extra slot 1-5 up from 1-4. Adding that one slot can make a huge difference and some of the builds we play and would like to play. We could also add another slot for passive though as well. Regardless I think just think one skill slot or passive slot is needed. With this extra slot we can easily find new builds and solutions for our heroes/classes.

Now this issue is directed towards loot and how it can roll on certain stats. Along with improving the paragon leveling experience.

    The power of paragon leveling!
Woah! Level 50 paragon ding alert! How awesome is that you are half way there..but its felt like a lifetime and the rewards aren't getting any greater.. =/. Paragon is awesome and gives us a reason to keep going, why not improve paragon more by adding some of these random stats on gear into the paragon system.

Each Paragon level gives you 3 of your main stat, and 1 on each other. 3% GF and 3% MF.
I feel like with a new reward system like this paragon would be more effective AND more rewarding.

One level of Paragon should be 3% MF and 6% GF
Five level of Paragon should be 250 health globe/potion bonus with 3 yard radius increase
Ten level of Paragon should be 3% movement speed, 6 main stats, 2 other stats, 25 AR, 150 armor, 6% MF, 9% GF.

Personally I would love to see all 3 of these in a new patch. This is just all my opinion though but I feel like we almost need these in order for the game to get even better. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and comment on it if you do. Give out some of your ideas guys, lets try to give some ideas to Blizzard. Because you just never know.

[EDIT] - Wow a lot of feedback from you guys, and plenty of great ideas that I never even thought of. Lets keep up with the ideas guys. You never know if a Blue is watching.
