Sometimes an Idea comes to me and I just can't stop typing... I hope you enjoy this idea I had for Bottomless Potions. Feel free to comment and post your own ideas. Perhaps Blizzard will read this and give us the power creep we need to feed our D3 addiction.

In games such as Diablo III the game is constantly being updated to include upward shifts in power for the characters so that each season allows players to attain previously unreachable goals. This is important in keeping players engaged and in providing the players with new rewards for that engagement. So with that in mind I present to you the following proposal for the advancement of potions in in Diablo III.

Inventory: Equipped legendary potions take up a space in your inventory. My first proposal would be to remove the need to keep them in your character inventory. Once equipped they would exist in the interface bar and could be swapped from that location with other potions.
Legendary: Here is a summary of the existing Legendary Potions that are available in Diablo III. These potions have a 30 second cooldown, a required level of 61, they are account bound, and they are unique equipped.
Instantly restores 60% Life.
- Bottomless Potion of Kulle-Aid
- Burst through Waller walls for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Mutilation
- Increases Life per Kill by 40000–50000 for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Regeneration
- Restores extra 75000–100000 Life over 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Rejuvenation
- Restores 10-15% of your primary resource when used below 25% Life.
- Bottomless Potion of the Diamond
- Increases Resist All by 50–100 for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of the Leech
- Increases Life per Hit by 15000–20000 for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of the Tower
- Increases Armor by 10% for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Amplification
- Increases healing from all sources by 20–25% for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Fear
- Fears enemies within 12 yards for 3–4 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Chaos
- Teleport to another location based on missing health. Results may vary. (30 yards at 50%)

Ancient: These potions are legendary and should also have a chance of dropping as ancient items. Here is a list of how I would change the potions as ancients. They would also count an an ancient item for LoN set.
Instantly restores 80% Life
- Bottomless Potion of Kulle-Aid
- Burst through Waller walls for 8 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Mutilation
- Increases Life per Kill by 80000–100000 for 8 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Regeneration
- Restores extra 150000–200000 Life over 8 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Rejuvenation
- Restores 20-30% of your primary resource when used below 50% Life.
- Bottomless Potion of the Diamond
- Increases Resist All by 100–200 for 8 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of the Leech
- Increases Life per Hit by 30000–40000 for 8 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of the Tower
- Increases Armor by 20% for 8 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Amplification
- Increases healing from all sources by 40–50% for 8 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Fear
- Fears enemies within 18 yards for 6–8 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Chaos
- Teleport to another location based on missing health. Results may vary. (40 yards at 50%)
Primal: The standard primal ancient is marginally better than a regular ancient and rather than create another list of increased numbers it might be better if it increases the amount healed to 100% and restores 100% of your primary resource. .
Instantly restores 100% Life and Primary Resource.
Kanai’s Cube:
Here are a few new recipes that could be used to combine, empower, and augment legendary potions.
Jentulf's Purification: a new cube recipe that requires a legendary potion (and some amount of resources) to have a chance to improve a legendary potion to Ancient or Primal ancient.
Jentulf's Inferno: a new cube recipe that requires a legendary or ancient potion and one Leoric's Regret one Idol of Terror, one Vial of Putridness, one Heart of Fright, and 10 Forgotten Souls. This will add this hellfire affix to the potion.
- Chance on use to engulf the ground in lava, dealing 200% weapon damage per second for 5 seconds (8 seconds for Ancient).
Jentulf's 's Confidence: A new Cube recipe that requires rank 30 Legendary Gem, a legendary or ancient potion, and 3 of a flawless royal gem. Provides a bonus when equipped.
- Amethyst: +10% Life.
- Diamond: Reduces cooldown of all skills by 6%.
- Emerald: +20% Extra Gold from Monsters.
- Ruby: +20% Experience. (2% at level 70).
- Topaz: Reduces all resource costs by 6%.
Jentulf's Experimentation: a new cube recipe that requires a legendary potion (and some amount of materials) to create a new potion. The new potion will be a random legendary potion and has a chance to come from this list of experimental bottomless potions.
- Bottomless Potion of Reaper
- Health globes restore 25–30% of your primary resource for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of the Nemesis
- Shrines and Pylons will spawn an enemy champion for the next 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of the Wind
- Gain a 25–30% chance to Knockback on Hit for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Thorns
- Gain a 25%-30% increase in Thorns Damage for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Asheara’s Command
- Your followers come to your aid for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Aughild’s Defense
- Reduces damage from elites by 7-10% for 5 seconds
- Bottomless Potion of Repercussion
- Gain 15-20% Area Damage on Hit for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Vaxo’s Haunt
- Summons 2 shadow clones to your aid for 5 seconds.
- Bottomless Potion of Halcyon’s Ascent
- You mesmerize nearby enemies causing them to jump uncontrollably for 5 seconds.
Jentulf's Concoction: a new cube recipe that requires two legendary potions (and some amount of materials) to create a new potion that hat has both legendary affixes. Potions could be combined a single time and must be of like types (Legendary or Ancient). Augmented potions will lose their augment when combined. Combining an Ancient and Primal potion will result in the combined gem retaining its primal bonus.

Cosmetic Changes
I have seen it suggested on some forums that an affix could be added that changed the appearance of the user in some way when the potion was triggered. Personally I would love to see an aura of some color added to the character when the potion was in effect. Maybe you could place the potion in the dye panel of the enchanting interface and select a color for that potion so you could customize it a tiny bit.

Bottom Line people....
Don't tell people how to play this game, don't tell people they are wrong for playing the game the way they do it. (Unless its an exploit ofc. :P)
I don't even do normal runs, and I see people literally "freaking" over the fact that people just want to play normal and that's it...
PLAY THE GAME THE WAY YOU WANT PEOPLE!!!!
Does it REALLY bother you that someone plays a lower difficulty then you?
Do you think also bashing people for doing so will create a solution? It won't.
I understand where some of you risk vs reward guys are coming from...I understand why you don't like it but as of right now...I simply cannot even think of even a logical reason why...you should bash/hate lower players for playing what they play on? Maybe they need too? Maybe they want too.
I respect you and you're opinion regardless of what you run and how you do it.
Ladders might bring some big risk vs reward bonuses here soon and maybe we will see an update?
Regardless, Blizzard needs to make the game friendly and fun for everyone. Not just you or me.

Seriously we need to remember, this is a game about...you know...slaying demons.
Not killing the blacksmiths wife over and over for a single quest that gives more XP then anything.

Barb needed the nerf in order to really make things balanced.
Barbs are suppose to generate fury then spend it and re-gain it again, not have infinite..

I recieved 1 set item, Mighty Belt.
Act 1 - Wow what a change, something new and inspiring seeing all these monsters automatically made me just happy and made me go into a bloodfrenzy to kill every-single monster that got in my way. Halls of Agony was the best.
Act 2 - I see maybe not as much change, still it was none or less a great zone to go into as well. The waterdepths and desolate sands I can tell got a big improvement, 180-300 kill streak in both areas. Needs more testing probably and more mobs other places like Road of Arcanus and Before fighting Belia
Act 3 - Lol the scorpion packs don't really bother me, everything is fine here. Scorpion packs shouldn't be the main xp if anything bosses should be giving xp. Not tiny little pintchers. Act 3 is good.
Act 4 - Now this is where they will have to do some changes, as of right now there are PLENTY of elites unless I just got lucky in my one run, 5 elites on Spire level 1 alone. What I don't see is a whole bunch of white mobs though, act 4 will definitely need more density in order to keep up with any act.
Pony Level - I heard no changes where made, need to test this for myself.
Mutliplayer Changes - Joined a game with 0 people so not quite sure about whats going on with that, have to wait and see tomorrow.
ID all - Loving this feature, pick up everything and sell it. Might as well add an sell all rares button haha =).
AH Comparison - This feature as far as I know does not work yet, this will need to be fixed.
Conclusion - IM LOVING THIS PATCH. <3333

Adding sockets NEEDS to be added too the game.
Its not about if the stat is unbalanced its the fact that we want to customize our characters too the limit.
I really hate the fact they added add socket then removed it, it was simply not needed on so many levels.
Its not like it should be "click" and pay 50k gold to add one, hell they could even make it a recipe drop for weapons..rings..gloves..chest, etc.
Maybe make it so we need to get 20 demonic essence for one socket...there should be 0 worries about making it unbalanced.
Its a freaking PvE game, it adds depth to customization, and it makes us have another thing on our list to do in our journey of Diablo.
Please for the love of Diablo, just add sockets. This alone would just make me so happy, beyond believe. The ONLY people who would not be happy is having BiS weapons that could sell for 250$ on RMAH...and Blizzard who would lose a couple of dollars (Like thats a big deal for millionaires..)

Should reset/swap skills reset valor?
Recently there was a vote, it was about "Should Valor reset if you change/swap skills." I believe there was more No then Yes. In my opinion you should not be punished if you reset your skills as this is a way to promote build diversity and its the main reason why you even get loot. This should be discussed more as this could very well happen.
Weapon Swapping.
As heroes of the sanctuary we should be as powerful as possible. For a long time now people have been going into their inventory to gear swap. How painful is that...open inventory click on the item and re-close it. What a yuck design we should NEVER have to open our inventory unless we need to sell/identify items! This would not only add more flavor to our heroes and their build diversity but it could promote using different weapon types and what stats are offered on them.
Build diversity and you.
Our heroes have plenty of moves, but no where near enough slots to use them though. This is the hard part of making things still balanced but not turning people into OP machines and cookie cutters. We really only should have ONE extra slot 1-5 up from 1-4. Adding that one slot can make a huge difference and some of the builds we play and would like to play. We could also add another slot for passive though as well. Regardless I think just think one skill slot or passive slot is needed. With this extra slot we can easily find new builds and solutions for our heroes/classes.
Now this issue is directed towards loot and how it can roll on certain stats. Along with improving the paragon leveling experience.
The power of paragon leveling!
Woah! Level 50 paragon ding alert! How awesome is that you are half way there..but its felt like a lifetime and the rewards aren't getting any greater.. =/. Paragon is awesome and gives us a reason to keep going, why not improve paragon more by adding some of these random stats on gear into the paragon system.
Each Paragon level gives you 3 of your main stat, and 1 on each other. 3% GF and 3% MF.
I feel like with a new reward system like this paragon would be more effective AND more rewarding.
One level of Paragon should be 3% MF and 6% GF
Five level of Paragon should be 250 health globe/potion bonus with 3 yard radius increase
Ten level of Paragon should be 3% movement speed, 6 main stats, 2 other stats, 25 AR, 150 armor, 6% MF, 9% GF.
Personally I would love to see all 3 of these in a new patch. This is just all my opinion though but I feel like we almost need these in order for the game to get even better. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and comment on it if you do. Give out some of your ideas guys, lets try to give some ideas to Blizzard. Because you just never know.
