Oh, hello Path of Exile, we'd like to steal your mapping idea, only ours will be shitty.
So PoE is just utter shit then?
D3 could be shitty, but god dam PoE is just UTTER shit!!!!
Played 5 minutes and logged off, they stole ideas from these other games.
I don't respect companies that steal, obviously Diablo did it right back.
Gosh you big silly willy.

For me at-least in D2 sometimes as a Sorc you might be pure cold, and when u came across a immune to cold pack it got scary real fast.
I would have another weapon with a skill for ex; Fire that would help me kills these immune packs.
Obviously in this case, D3 doesn't have any immune to cold, fire, posion, etc elite/champion affixes.
But what would be nice is for example, you have a Sunkeeper and you're regular weapon...Maximus, SoH, whatever.
You would switch to the Sunkeeper for elites/champs while you would use you're regular weapon on everything else.
Now it does seem pointless to even have this but it could be a neat little feature.
You can even combine some of these effects together by swapping back and fourth.
I can't really think of examples off the top of my head, but theres def a lot of different possibilities.

I believe it would more good then harmful, still has cons though.
Also its 50/50 for build diversity and BiS cookie cutters.
What do you all think and why?

For me, I work full time Monday-Friday. 12 hours a day.
I come home and enjoy playing the game, which I do.
I just don't think you all need to be so "concerned" with what is to come, without even being able to test it just yet.
Also I did say that I don't mind you guys thinking that this is a forced thing, its you're opinion.
To me, I just don't care, as long the game is fun.
Also I never get into these huge debates/discussions about these kind of problems, as we have much more serious things in real life happening.
I am just glad I don't have to play Diablo 3 vanilla and have to pay to win.
Although I am also a simple man, who enjoys simple things in life.
Just regardless I do think some of you are taking it a bit over the top.
Try it out, give proper feedback, and most of all...just enjoy yourself.
The biggest thing is this, the items will be pulled into normal mode, that's fine with me.

No one forces you to do anything...LOL!
You CHOOSE to play the ladders.
You CHOOSE to wait or go for the new legendaries.
There's no forcing you to do anything. None. Absolutely zero.
When you play Diablo 3, are you FORCED by any means to do something by force? No.
Are you forced to do only adventure mode? No.
Are you forced to do HC mode? No.
Are you forced to play with a certain group? No.
Are you forced to only kill elites for legendaries? No.
There's options, there's choices, choices you make.
I understand you're concern, and I understand that you feel like its not right or fair, I respect you're opinion but your not forced.

I like starting fresh and building my way up.
I don't think we should be concerned until we see the content on PTR.
Too many people assume and get worried about things they haven't tried or seen yet.

Unless they properly put there advertising in a certain forum. Which u did.
+1 sub.

Right now rewarding players would be just...not fair to be honest. So many players have used exploits and glitches to just gain an advantage on the invisible race...(call it invisible because all you can show off is what RNG drops you got.)
Not saying everyone has, but too many have.
Ladders aren't even out yet either, so I wouldn't be disappointed just yet. I prefer playing the content before giving it a thumbs down!

But DON'T actually do exploits in the game to get INSANE amounts of xp.
Seriously if ladders ever come I hope they fix all these exploits...ugh its just going to ruin the whole meaning of ladders/leader-boards.

This is just one bullshit excuse seriously.

I miss trading but there's just no way to re-implement it in a sensible way that wouldn't just cause even more problems.
They did what was best and I hope it keeps staying this way, and for some of you I don't think this was anywhere near a lazy or as some would say..."conspiracy" act.

No point for me to get into it, so let me just post what a guy posted.
If it is overpowered, then it must be nerfed.
Nerfs are necessary to maintain balance.
On one hand, some people get mad when things get nerfed, but they also complain that legendaries aren't build changing enough or that they don't have a diversity of builds to choose from.
Guess what? When overpowered things remained without a nerf legendaries aren't going to be powerful enough to change your build because you're build or items are overpowered. When overpowered things remained without a nerf, you don't have build diversity because that overpowered build is way better than everything else.
These people are too stupid and short-sighted to see that legendaries not being build-changing enough, a lack of build diversity, and rampant imbalance would be the result of their anti-nerf ideology. They should be ignored because they are completely wrong.
Also, no, Blizzard can't just buff everything else to the level of the overpowered thing. Otherwise, Blizzard would have to waste months of resources buffing thousands of items or spells every time a item or spell is overpowered, which would lead to massive power-creep so that T6 would soon be faceroll.
On the Shard of Hate, it's not a nerf, it's a bug fix. It's a bug that attacking with the other hand resets the internal cooldown. No other proc works this way, and the tooltip does not say "attacking with the other hand resets the internal cooldown". It's a bug that it doesn't take proc coefficients (https://us.battle.net/d3/en/game/guide/items/equipment#procs) into account. No other item proc works this way, and the tooltip does not say "ignores the proc coefficient". Therefore, these are bugs.
Nerfing overpowered things is always good for the game. Get over it.
What this guy said is right, although he shouldn't of said people are short sighted and dumb, but hes right.
