Just ran the watch tower, and it seems like Blizzard compensated for the longer way-point distance by tweaking the map generation of the first floor.
The first floor was noticeably larger than pre-1.0.5, and we encountered 2 or 3 elite packs on the first floor. Previously, there were never any elite packs on the first floor.
The 106-395 damage Triumvirate with 8.0% Critical Hit Chance has been sold.
The 100-373 damage Triumvirate with 8.5% Critical Hit Chance has been sold.
Here's a great Skull Grasp for other Wizards using the Magic Missile primary skill.
While not shown on your DPS number, the +10% applies to your final weapon damage as it adds to the +% weapon damage on the Magic Weapon rune you choose. Since this modifier scales with your DPS, the +10% can add far more overall damage than other damage modifiers provided you are using Magic Missile.
SKULL GRASP
+138 Intelligence
+6% Attack Speed
+152 Life on Hit
+196 Armor
+34 Cold Resistance
Increase Magic Missile Damage by 10%
Some interesting facts regarding the probability of this combination:
- Skull Grasps can roll either +STR, +DEX, or +INT (1 of 3)
- Magic Missile is 1 of 58 possible skill rolls (1 of 58)
- % increase ranges from +5%-11% (2 of 7 for 10-11%)
This means that it's about a 0.5% chance to roll +INT and Magic Missile Skull Grasp. About 0.16% for one with +10% or +11% damage. Magic Missile Damage not a searchable stat for armor either, so that makes tracking one down on the AH even tougher!
Will consider all reasonable offers. If interested, please message me in-game or through the forums. Thank you!
PS. Great way to plan ahead if you are interested in PVP. I myself will be basing my PVP strategy around Magic Missile for its fast travel speed, ability to round corners, and off-screen auto-targeting. Will be combining with Temporal Flux passive for constant snares,
Without taking RNG into account, if each person in a group of 4 had 3 machines need get the ring on solo, you can create 4 back-to-back games so everyone gets the materials to each craft 4 rings.
I guess you can use mine as a long-term goal. Bear in mind that I've played consistently since launch.
Also can look through the Wizard Gear Guide written by Jaetch. Can see that great time and effort was spent developing its contents.
I personally have a very unusual build, centered around survivability and maneuverability for future PVP. Basically have kiting skills with gear preventing the need to kite. Probably 1 of 2 wizards out there without any critical hit chance or damage - have low DPS in comparison to well-geared wizards, as all my DPS derived from offensive stats with defensive synergies.
My personal view is that Triumvirates are currently one of the easiest items to misprice (both over and under), unless someone takes the time to look through Triumvirate listings over a period of time. While the damage roll is not the only important stat, it is arguably the most important as even perfect rolls will not save a low damage Triumvirate. With damage as a search option in 1.0.5, I'm sure everyone will be using that as a search field to weed out the low damage ones.
Assuming the case that similar damage Triumvirates go for 15-20M right now, I would rationalize that price would go up once damage can be searched. Right now, the most efficient way to search is to find a preferred random roll, then physically check each listing to seek those with high damage as well. In 1.0.5, people will have the option to search just for high damage, if comparable ones with preferred random rolls (vit, apoc, etc) are beyond their price range.
Not in a hurry to sell these, as mentioned, and can wait until 1.0.5 to come shortly. I'd keep until then if best offer now is 20M. However, putting it here in case anyone may be interested, as I'll consider all offers until I'm able to list these on the AH so that they are "visible" with the damage search option. Not expecting anything around 50M at the moment.
With MP enabled, difficulty will be more consistent through the 4 acts, as all monsters will be mlvl63. Their damage and HP will be more similar than what they have currently in 1.0.4.
However, will not be identical due to mob type & density, which affects you differently depending on your gear & build.
I didn't realize the organs don't drop 100% of the time, in D2 they did. I though it was only the keys that had to be farmed. If you get the keys and do an uber run and they don't drop the organs do you have to find the keys all over again?
Public game = No MP by default, no ability to change.
Private multiplayer game = MP of game based on setting of game creator. In the event the original game creator leaves, the MP adjusts to the setting of the party leader (i.e. person with crown in portrait).
To be honest, I'm not quite sure how to price these to be market-competitive, as it's not possible until 1.0.5 to sort by Source damage. The ones I have now have very limited "visibility", as the random rolls are not stellar. However, they will become a lot more 'visible' in 1.0.5 considering the damage rolls are respectable.
Until then, based on the limited research I can do on the AH, I've seen similar ones in damage range from 20M, all the way to 50M+. 20M seems a bit low, and I'm willing to gamble that high damage rolls will be valued more in 1.0.5. The 50M+ prices seem outrageous to me unless outstanding random rolls, which I know mine does not have.
As noted, willing to consider any and all reasonable gold/gem/item offers. Have fair expectations, and not expecting anything outrageous. Won't hurt to make an offer! =)

The 2nd floor appears to be similar to pre-1.0.5.

Since they didn't, not looking for "a lot".

If that was my chest armor, I would do a market-price check using these parameters:
- Strength (no value)
- Vitality (200)
- All Resist (no value)
- Armor (200)
- Has Sockets (2)
If only a few results show up, I'd relax the parameters to these:
- Strength (no value)
- Vitality (200)
- All Resist (no value)
- Armor (no value)
- Has Sockets (2)
Not sure what search parameters you used, but more results may show up with these.
Hopefully this helps!
