that's no reason not to ban these people. i guess blizzard is actively letting it slip because the heavy botters are streamers which generate a lot of publicity for D3. it's a fucked-up situation, but i'm quite sure blizzard is OK with these people botting.

    edit:

for god's sake, fix your stupid forum. the quoting system is the worst in the history of the internet. and it's that way for years now. i know that this will not generate an answer from anyone who is responsible for the technical back-end of this site, because they'd have to admit to being bad at their job.

oh, you all can guess what i quoted, i won't fix my post.

    1. "blizz doesnt care" : reminding you on the banwave between s1 and s2

but it does not matter at all. they ban at the end of seasons, when everything is said and done. the botters had a whole season to show off their botting results on twitch, and made a lot of money eventually. then the season ends, and they're banned, just to invest another $50 to do it all again in the next season.

they should ban more often. especially mid-season, and when everyone is still farming for gear. that'll hurt them most.

i guess yes, it will be botter's heaven, and it will suck. and yeah, i guess blizzard is ok with botters.

The amount of experience required is so huge up there, it doesn't need to be higher.

it needs to be higher, or you will experience what bagstone described with a bell curve, and when you reach the top of it (P2000), the more paragon points you have, the faster you will acquire more.

it's very problematic, especially because botters seem to be fine and blizzard rarely bans people.

    edit:

oh, and great post bagstone, thanks a lot!

in my screenshot you can see 28 million sheet dps with sloppy gear quickly crafted and just to test the new stuff however i'm not using the 6th set bonus so there might actually be a really good potential for this build but these are just my opinions.

you have a power pylon active in that screenshot.

and vyr's still can't compete with tal's as it looks right now.

    Quote from Nightshade1233»

Or still replace the 6pc effect with the 50 stacks and put the "1 stack per attack" effect on the belt (which has not been datamined yet, but probably just has the 50 stacks effect, now).

my guess is that they remove the belt from the game, which i would also like. i don't think it's good design to "force" people into seasons. people who like seasonal play will play them, others will stick with non-season.

    edit:

the belt seems to be getting the 50 stack thingy. source: datamine: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NvFPwHXEhbf4pVt6w0PRbANoKxNeAso8R9JCszm-heA

will only be good in Season 4 due to the belt

that's the bad part. there are enough incentives to play season for the people who like to start fresh a lot of times. for people who prefer long-time progression, this really sucks. i'm already contemplating to play season 4, even though i don't like seasons at all. but i'd like to play a new wizard spec (i play only wizard), so i might be forced to play in season 4.

it's just bad design in my opinion.

no, the proc-chance is still too low as it multiplies with your "skill proc coefficient" values.

You're not understanding what I'm saying, that is from their OWN description of the item. They describe the Kanai cube as being the powerful origin of the horadric cube. If they wanted to do something different they could have, but instead they chose to do this, why? If its supposed to be a nostalgic pip for fans then why not just call it the horadric cube even with its different function? If its not supposed to be then why make it a clear reference to it and write the lore of having it be a basically more powerful version of it?

you just don't get it. it's called "lore". it's a story, it's phantasy. it's about the item itself and it's origin, not about the devs... *shakes head*

Myself and pretty much all other mods occasionally fight half an hour+ battles against those spammers who create new accounts as fast as we can ban them. [...] Trust me, we're probably more pissed off by the situation than any of you are, but we're already doing all that we can.

judging from what you wrote, you're certainly not doing all you can. trying to manually ban automated account creations and automatic spam is kind of futile. you have to restrict what new accounts are allowed to do, or you will never win the upper hand against these spam-waves.

but i guess you know that already.
