posted a message on Sage Carnevil, Death's Breath farming build for T8/T10

Hey what's up guys! OraK from Zero Empathy :)

Some days ago i posted my Road to Rank 1 EU-NS (Carnevil) and i'm back again with Carnevil with some changes to make it a viable build for Death's Breath farming!

Premise: I like to work on more builds so people are not forced to play with just 1 and they can run their favorite, so i'm not stating that this is the BEST build for DBs farming, because you would probably prefer Arachyr/Manajuma. I'd say Sage Carnevil is the a very good compromise for DBs + GR keys farming.

Click here for Sage Carnevil on Diablofans Tool

In this written guide i'm gonna explain again what it's described in the video!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGsbpb_EhGw

So, I've made a different setup for Carnevil to farm Death's Breath on high difficulties, so we can equip Sage Set like other classes without losing efficiency and too much dps. Ofc we are not barbs, monks and DHs so the result isn't the same like other classes but i'm sure, with good practise, everyone can reach a good gameplay/efficiency for solo and group!

Before talking about the build, i'd like to remind you that the drop chance of DBs (Death's Breath) changes on every Torment tier! On t6 you have 77%/80%, on T7 90%, on T8+ you have 100% with the only difference that on T8 you have 5% more chance to drop a 2nd DB and on T9 15%, on T10 is 25% more.
So basically the most efficient way for a guaranteed double DB is playing on T8! Ofc on T10 you can get much more DBs, but tbh i don't think the 20% more chance is worth it as Witch Doctor! Go higher T if you are playing in group.

The gear is pretty much the same that you have been using on patch 2.2, so you are not gonna play Focus / Restraint, but in stead you go back to Convention of Elements and Zuni's Pox! That's the only way to fit Sage set inside a WD build without ruining the basic core of the spec, Z6 in this case. Don't worry about the loss of damage compared to F/R! Torment 8 is still an easy GR35, so you will be melting everything ;)

In the cube you will go for Carnevil mask, Ring of Royal Grandeur and In geom (in the video i cubed DoD cause my in geom was better). The sword is so amazing for this build and every farming build in general, especially because you are going to free a slot for Angry Chicken replacing BBV so you can spam chicken and go much faster in your elite packs hunt!

I'm using only 1 spender skill but that's up to you and your gameplay, if you prefer to run a 2nd spender then just do it! The spender skills are free choice, i really like to play with Frozen Piranhas because it has short cooldown (compared to Piranhado), it buffs my deeps (debuff on mobs) and it also procs BotT gem! The other gems are simplicity strenght and enforcer.

Passive skills are pretty much mandatory, so Spirit Vessel, Pierce the Veil, Fetish Sycophants and one between Grave Injustice and Gruesome Feast, i suggest you to run Hellfire Amulet because they are both important for a better efficiency.

Well that's all guys, i hope you enjoyed the guide and the Sage Carnevil!

gl and hf during your DBs farming ;)

posted a message on My Road to Rank 1 EU-NS! :)

Hey what's up guys, OraK from Zero Empathy :)

i'd like to share with you my rank 1 NS-EU telling you what i have done and changed during these 4 months! First of all i want to say a big GZ to all WDs around the world that took part to the leaderboards and also the ones that couldn't reach them, in fact i have pushed so high because we had a very fair and cool competition, so yeah thx, i hope we all had tons of fun first of all ;)

    So let's start...

Basically my Road to Rank 1 is composed by 5 GRs: 53-56-57-58-61! I recorded everything, because i usually watch my videos to understand my mistakes and luckily they are also good to show people what's going on! If you take a look at all my videos you will notice that i changed a lot of stuff from GR53 to GR61, i have always tried to evolve my gameplay GR by GR tier by tier. That's something really important that i'd like to share with players new to the GRs system.."Think out of the box"! Every tier is different and you have to adapt, all the classes have Pros and Cons, we are not perfect then we have to do our best with the gear and the skills.

In my GR53 my approach to Carnevil build was really basic. I was using the common build with 2 spenders, Aughild's set and Enforcer, Simplicity, Gogok as gems. Everything went fine, i probably spent just a couple of keys to clear it. I still think that this is the best way to start to play carnevil cause you can fully understand the mechanics of the build. Piranhado will help you to group up everything, Aughild's set gives you a lot of toughness and it helps a lot in killing the packs, moreover there is Gogok gem to reach 1-2 higher breakpoints for more damage. Here is the video.

    GR 53: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2UCF7GbSMM (rank 4)

In GR56 i made my first changes. First of all i used an immunity amulet to make the gameplay less "fishy", but tbh that's something that can still work in low tier, in fact i didn't use it anymore, but that was worth to try and in GR56 worked. I was still using Aughild's and gogok, the "new entry" was BotTrapped gem instead of Enforcer. I also put GotD as spender to proc the green gem and tbh it was a better choice compared to my previous Acid Cloud. The result was very good and there was nice synergy in the build, but it wasn't perfect..i needed to work on it.

    GR 56: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMsvZuCdn-E (rank 4)

After clearing GR56 i took a short period to focus on how to improve the build, i saw a big potential to push higher and higher so i decided that i had "to think out the box" to make the difference to climb the leadeboards. The result was sick and "drastic". No more gogok (replaced with Enforcer), no more Aughild's set, i was back to 5 passives (hellfire amulet), but mainly no more 2 spenders! I realised that dps from gogok was nothing compared to a high lvl Enforcer and also because my fetishes began to die quickly so a boost to their toughness was pretty much needed. Then i removed Aughild's because on high tiers you don't want to kill elite packs to do not waste your precious time and also because i thought that we could pretty much fix the loss of dmg vs elites just by reaching higher breakpoints with Lacuni's bracers and a good Zuni Pox, i was right. The real big change was the pass from 2 spenders to only 1! To do that i had to find the perfect mix between Piranhado and GotD, the result was Frost Piranhas! This rune is very nice because it has low cooldown and also because it procs my BotT gem, with some CDR on mask and shoulders i was able to use it every 5 seconds, perfect for Zuni bonus. Ess of Johan on follower worked really fine with his proc around every 10-12 seconds, so no need of Piranhado anymore. Another interesting point of this change was the brand new free slot on my skill bar! I decided to use Soul Harvest (Languish) to fix my lack of dps compared to higher paragons Witch Doctors and also because i was able to run more toughness, the toughness that i dropped from my gear to use 1 spender. That was my winning choice and i'm proud of it! From this moment i stopped uploading my videos on youtube because i really felt i had found something different that could have made the difference to let me reach rank 1.

I uploaded GR 57 and 58 yday, i apologize with my subscribers but i had to do it.

    GR 57: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auPYrZi48GQ (rank 7)

    GR 58: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTouCQMTGvk (rank 3)

After GR58 i took another break, this time a bit longer. My build was working fine, but sadly i realised that my paragon lvl was not enough to compete for rank1, even if i don't think is needed (rng, mobs, map come first), i felt that i should have invest the last 90-100 days of Era3 in grinding paragons. Another good thing of speedgrifting was that i was able to gamble tons of stuff and that really helped me to make my gear perfect. I had what i wanted, trifecta Pox, nice Lacunis and pretty much better stuff in every slot. After my 90 days of grinding i felt i did a good job with my gear and also with my paragons (around 200 more, so 250k+ dps). I also had time to farm bounties and find a perfect Skeleton King shoulders (a must have, boys). I was ready to come back on the battleground!

I took a look at the leaderboards and in that moment rank 1 was Gr60. I trained so hard, i felt tier 60 was not the highest possible, so i decided to go ALL-IN and farm 61s keys only! That was a risky decision, by the end of the Era i could have been rank 20 or rank 1, but that was worth to try, better nothing than a rank 2.
With the help of my amazing clanmates and also some friends from friendlist i farmed a total of 250x61s and i spent them in around 15 days. I must say that wasn't that chilling. Sadly to reach rank 1 you are not free to open and play, you have to fish for the right Grift so the first days were really frustrating. I was looking for Unburieds, Summoners or Zombies mainly and obv the perfect boss. Actually WD doesn't have a "perfect boss", you just want to avoid Stonesinger (the worst), Crusader King, Rime, Bloodmaw, Voracity, Perdition and stuff like that. Well guys, during my first 180 keys i spawned only 3 bosses (yeah i got only 3 playable grift) and i got Stonesinger and Crus King x2. I got rekt, but i had no time to feel sad, i had to push, era was coming to an end and the guy on rank1 improved his rank clearing Gr61 in around 15 mins.
I still felt i could do it, i had eveything i needed.. gear, my personal build, and why not my ability to play the class (i've always played WD since day 1). I farmed 100 more keys for the last push.
I did small changes after failing those keys, i decided to go full glass cannon (like removing all res from boots, etc), i had 9m toughness unbuffed. Toughness wasn't an important thing for my build. Everything could 1 shot me and i have a short cooldown to fetish army (59 sec).
Well, 2 days before the ending of Era i had MY chance. I opened an arreat crater with godly density, i took a deep breath and i started to fight. Right at the beginning i had the worst possible nightmare, reflect dmg + ghosts pack! I decided to proc my Spirit Vessel for a double chance to skip it and i was right..proc + spirit walk and i disappeared from their radar. Since that moment i only had 1 thing in my mind, rank 1 and i did it!
In my GR61 i introduced a new kind of gameplay that really made the difference in terms of rift progress. I started playing MELEE so i was able to cast BBV against big groups and restore the cooldown for the next group. You basically have to play in 5 yards max from the mobs with fetishes bodyblocking for you. It's risky and a big gamble but this stuff makes the difference to reach higher tiers, yeah once again "think out the box". I mastered this gameplay during my 90 days break doing speedgrifts as boss killer.

    GR 61: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03HqSpsco8I (rank 1)

I'm not so happy with my performance tbh, i could have done much better. I made a mistake on boss fight, i didn't have the perfect double rotation with BBV+CoE, but who cares now...the final result is what i prefer.

So guys, as you can see, my GR53 is really different compared to GR61 and that's what i enjoyed the most during these months. The evolution of my character and, first of all, of myself. I'd really like that more people will join us on the leaderboards especially now that trials are gone. I have big plans for Era 4, i can't wait to compete with you guys with our new carnevil (and HT as well).

WD is amazing, we are having hard times in 2.2 because of our lacks (no aoe skills, no burst dmg while running, slow mechanics and movement speed), but i would never change my class with anything else. I strongly prefer to play a grift and be alert 100% of the times, watching everywhere because everything can 1 shot you. That's why we play, we want fun and adrenaline. I love my class :)

I hope you guys enjoyed my road to rank 1, i wish you good luck for next Era and the game in general.

    cya in game! ;)

posted a message on [2.2] Fireworks Doc! Fast and Competitive T6 build

Last Update: Added reccomendation about Envious Blade in items section

    Reddit post: http://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo3witchdoctors/comments/3a28yd/22fireworks_doc_fast_and_competitive_t6_build_for/

    Introduction

Yo guys, OraK from Zero Empathy ;)

I want to show you a build that i’ve been trying to make focusing on how to fix all WD’s issues at the same time! Obv the build is not meant to perform in low/high grs, but for T6. Why T6? Because, even if boring as hell, sometimes we still need to farm mats, keystones, horadric caches, and we will want to make it in the fastest possible way

So mainly i want to give another option to players that are bored of usual builds and especially to players that are new to the class and want to run smoothly without preying for a rare cerimonial knives.

Jade, first of all, and Carnevil are good builds for T6 but nothing compared to other classes that can clear a rift (till boss) in around 100-140 seconds in solo! WD has awful movement speed, dmg mechanics are slow (we need to trigger something else to proc set bonuses), no real AoE in main builds.. all these factors put the WD far behind other classes in an average clear time of 170+ sec with average mobs density. So you can still do it with well known builds but you have to sacrifice other important slots on your skillbar

With this build, the result is better than I expected, obv not like a monk or a barb but it's Fast, Offensive and so damn Funny ;)

I have an average clear time of 150 sec in Solo and moreover I’m able to play in fast groups without falling deeply behind!

    [2.2] Fireworks Doc

The build is called “Fireworks” because it’s based on explosive AoE skills, that put together make a really nice result!

Here it is the build from diablofans tool and my Youtube video:

    http://www.diablofans.com/builds/56320-2-2-fireworks-doc-fast-and-competitive-t6-build

    link video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_Kvjtl0JHs&feature=youtu.be

So, as you can see, we have Sacrifice as main AoE dmg dealer (damage is tripled with TMF ring) and 3 more AoE offensive skills for trash mobs(Hex, Spirit Walk, Soul Harvest)! Fetishes will perform as finishers!
We have a huge and costant buff to movement speed with Spirit Walk, Hex, Horrify and Fierce Loyalty! This is possible thx to Grave Injustice + CDR on gear (I’m using shoulders, diamond on helm, Vigilante, Born’s set, but you can have way more).

The gameplay is really easy to manage! Basically you run like crazy looking for medium/big groups (4+ mobs) to restore your skills through Grave Injustice! Try always to stack your Soul Harvest buff to 5 so gain A LOT of dps! Every time you see an Elite Pack, just engage as Angry Chicken and finish it with Sacrifice!

    2 little things about Sacrifice:

You have to use Big dog, you can’t perform this build with normal zombie dogs

You have 2 rapid “shots”! The dog next to you and the one insta summoned by your Homunculus (no need to wait 2 secs)

    That’s a Physical build so pump your dmg with %ElementalPhysical + %Sacrifice + %Fetish Army.

The most important items are MoJ, T&T (not mandatory), Homunculus, Tall Man’s Finger and Doombringer! Yes Doombringer! You don’t need rare ceremonial knives You don’t even need a complete a 6pieces set, just boots and pants from Zuni! The rest is really easy (Born’s set is craftable) to get, bracers are free (I prefer another boost to MS, but Nemesis are also fine in T6). If you can't find a Doombringer, i'd reccoment to run Envious Blade for massive 100% AoE crit, which is also easy to farm in act 3 bags (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/envious-blade-3FoG39)

    Gems are pretty much mandatory:

BotT ( a bit tricky on boss, but basically 100% uptime in rift)

Enforcer (even if you are using MoJ and %Physical on your gear, this gem is still one of the best)

BotP (huge, fast buff to dps)

    Passive Skills:
As mentioned before, Grave Injustice is mandatory, and then i'm using Fierce Loyalty for the movements speed buff, spirit vessel to reduce CD on spirit walk, horrify and Soul Harvest by 2 sec and at the end PtV for a dmg buff. If you have a good hellfire amulet to run a 5th passive or you just don't like one of the ones i'm using, then Tribal Rites is a good choice to reduce cd on hex!

    PROS

    No need Kukri, DoD
    Easy gear
    Fastest MS possible
    No slow mechanics
Perfect for all types of density
    No Maps layout dependent
    Playable in group
    Funny

    CONS

    Need perfect MoJ (cc+Sacrifice)
Half gear should be ancient for best performance
    9 mandatory pieces

That’s all guys, I hope you can enjoy this build in your speedy sessions. Patch 2.3 is not that far, but in the meanwhile we can still take advantage of what we have.

    Cya in game!

sry guys i just got back home aftera little vacation

    @Sharpy:

You should put some Life% on your gear (shoulders, chest) to improve Pets survivability on higher grifts; reroll dmg into 7%IAS on your DoD and possibly improve your RoRG and immunity amu ;)

Both FA and PD influence Fetish Army dmg when spitting darts. All WDs are running FA on mojo cause it is so hard to get a well rolled anc mojo with %Elites... in that case it would be better to reroll FA into PD

    __________

    @TomIcy:

countess julia, xephirian, azkharanth are more useful especially the first 2 to avoid unpredictable dmg, i use the best i have (julia).

i skip every single yellow, not worth atm! RD are skipped as well, TS it depends on mob type, density and map layout... need open area to not get "in trap". That's why i highly suggest to run Julia or Xephyrian, those really make difference.

To record i use Xsplit (not free version)

I cleared a 50 a while ago and tried some attempts on 52-53 but failed... There was one attempt where i missed a 53 by about 30 seconds which sucked... Anyway i might try going for grasp of dead and frozen piranhas with bott as you showed. What rune on grasp of dead are you using? Desparate grasp i assume?

    30/4/15 UPDATE for 2.2 Patch!

    GR56 Cleared!
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMsvZuCdn-E
    Build from diablofans tool: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/54200-carnevil-2-2-gr56-cleared-always-work-in-progress

It's time to update this cool build with stuff from 2.2! What's new?

    - Rework to Zuni's bonus set: we need a spender in skill bar
    - New pieces for Zuni's set: gloves and pants

The changes are really cool because the output damage got a very nice improvement and thanks to the 4p bonus we got a useful buff to our survivability which is cool considering how much we are exposed to elites affixes (no tiki, no party)

The build has a lot of potential and probably people will push it over GR57, average players can easily manage around GR50 which is fine compared to what was our GR range in 2.1!

So,I’ve tested a lot of spenders, like Grasp of the dead, Spirit Barrage (Phantasm) and Acid Could (acid rain)

    Acid Rain PROS:
Our gameplay needs to be fast and versatile, we will never stand on a single spot for that long especially while fighting elites! 24 yards help us to debuff as many mobs as we can considering our darts will pierce! The absence of cooldown is very important as well and you will notice it once you try it... Darts don’t make enough damage without Zuni bonus proc. So better to keep it up all the time in all situations. Use it in case you run Enforcer over BotT

    GotD PROS:

Grasp of the Dead is my favourite because i run BotT gem and has amazing sinergy with the build especially because i'm using the rune with lower CD (6 sec)

You have to keep in mind this:
The debuff from Zuni bonus will be active when the mob is in the area + 4 sec.

A little example: cast "acid cloud" on a lacuni
    - Insta debuff on lacuni
    - lacuni stands 2 sec in the area of acid rain, still debuffed
    - lacuni jumps out of acid rain effect, it will be debuffed for the next 4 sec!

So basically the debuff will be over 4 seconds after the mob left the area of effect or your spender expired!

Once you know this, the gameplay is pretty much the same described in original post.

Any new items beside Zuni pieces?

Yes! The Convention of Elements is a brand new ring from 2.2 and it fits really fine in Carnevil! Feel free to use it once you are much more confident with your gameplay (you will remove Unity so watch out ^^)

    My Follower:

    - Solanium + Broken Promises for nice globes spawn (Gruesome Feast)

    - a lot of IAS and CDR

    - Ess of Johan mandatory

Well guys, that’s all, I’m gonna update this guide if I find out something new to share.

    ORIGINAL POST from 2.1.2

Hey whazup guys, according to patch 2.1.2 patch notes all the fetishes now benefit from %Poison Dart affix, which is a great buff (fix) that allows us to theorycraft some new competitive stuff!

There are few things that i’d like to mention that maybe someone don’t know yet:

    - You don’t need TnT gloves, because fetishes have OUR attack speed, so basically you are gonna put as IAS affix as you can to gain a lot of output dmg.
    - Carnevil mask doesn’t consider which rune you are using, Fetishes will always shot Splinter Darts so POISON damage.
    - Fetish Army will benefit from "%Fetish Army" + "%Poison Darts" + "%Poison"
    - FS will benefit from "%Poison Darts" + "%Poison"
    - When not spitting darts, fetishes will do melee/physical dmg

According to this information, I decided to spend some time on that build rather than more performing ones (jade first of all) because I believe Carnevil Doc has become a competitive build (not high like jade) considering the very short time you need to build it! The good part is that you don’t need damn rare Kukri, Furnace,TnT etc but the old Zuni and some crafted items (Cain + Aughild). Another very interesting point is that, thanks to Dagger of Darts, WD looks like is casting an AoE skill which, we all know, is one of wd biggest issue (spenders AoE are to weak and manaburn). As I said before, the build is focused on attack speed (IAS), that’s why we are going to craft Cain set rather than using Poison pants (Swamp land Waders) so we can keep %Poison Dart, gain 8% IAS (which is better than 20%Poison imho) and keep some vitality (useful for us and fetishes as well)

Our HP is going to be around 500k but that’s nothing to worry about thanks to our gem "Simplicity Strenght" which gives us some nice Life Steal (2% on hit), very nice with high IAS. Another thing very useful to keep in mind about this gem is that all our fetishes will benefit from its primary effect (huge buff). About gems, my favourite ones are Enforcer (more buff to pets) and Gogok (better FS proc rate)

    Skills I suggest:

Build: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#aQlUkP!VWhe!cbbaYb I’d like to spend some words on some skills:

    Poison Dart:

If you have some general Stun on hit on your gear, Snake to the face + Gogok (an example of max ias) has more stun on hit proc rate than Splinters + Gogok even if is just 1 dart at time (around 47% vs 36%)

    Fetish Army:

We are going for Legion of Daggers even if is a physical rune, because, as i said on top of the analysis, fetishes will be spitting poison darts

Wall of Zombie: We have 5 mandatory skills and 1 jolly skill. My favourite is WoZ (Wrecking Crew) because of the taunt effect that is very helpful while piranhado is on CD! It works with blue packs too and it is very useful to aggregate trash mobs in 1 point (like piranhado). So, basically with a good coordination of Spirit Walk, Piranhado and WoZ you will be in a safe position.

Useful passive skills are 5, so try to craft a nice Hellfire Amulet! I really like Tribal Rites on 40+ grifts because pets still die with the strongest mobs and some elite affixes (I think is better than using Jungle Fortitude). If you play T6 or lower grifts then Tribal Rites is not mandatory.

    In short:

    PROS
    - Good alternative for 40s grifts
    - "AoE" effect
    - Easy to build
    - Easy Ancient items

    CONS:
    - Some maps are unplayable
    - Fetishes sometimes have bad positioning
    - CD are long, basically you must not die

    That’s a video of me clearing Grift 42 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTYzlb8HYiM

(in the video description will find a link to my armory) So what’s your thoughts about new Carnevil? Cya in game, guys! ;)

    Video of a speedrift T6:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PP2iR0BcZTw&feature=youtu.be

    _____________________________________

As a Witch Doctor i’ve always felt slower than my fellas with other classes! With new meta 2.1.2, all the other classes are A LOT more faster than us in killing mobs and speedclearing! That’s a huge issue because now we are literally useless because of our skills mechanics that need much more time and sadly we are not able to compete… it’s very hard to find a very efficient group that accepts a wd nowday! Luckily we are always welcome from clanmates and we can find games... but not everyone has a clan!
That’s not enough, I don’t want to feel useless with my teammates so i’ve tried to find a purpose to our favourite class to be as efficient as useful in speedrifts like others.
Probably the result is not like other classes, but I believe that is a very good way to play in high skilled games.

First thing I’ve studied is which spec could be the best, the answer is simple: Jade! Other specs like pet docs and carnevil take too much time in mechanics and they are much better in a slower gameplay (pls don’t forget that I’m considering most efficient farming possible gameplay, like in the video). Jade is customizable and that is perfect for us because we just need a few changes to make it work fine.
The things that make viable Jade Doc compared to other builds is the perfect armony between utility and output dmg. Piranhado works great in speedrift and our Soul Harvest is what we need to kill fast elites (you are not going to focus trashmobs, not our job).

We are missing a speed buff so that’s why I made 2 little variations to a normal Jade: 1 ring and removed Locust Swarm for Angry Chicken (Hex)

The ring is the Rechels ring of larceny (http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/item/rechels-ring-of-larceny) which gives us a speedbuff after fearing an enemy (and we do it all the time using Horrify - Stalker).

Angry Chicken gives huge speed buff and nice utility to party thanks to the knockup effect that procs Strongarm bracers!

With just 2 simple changes our class can be easily played with high performance without being annoying for the rest of the party ;)

You just need to learn how to alternate spirit walk, horrify and angry chicken without wasting them! Once you get it, then you just have to do your normal job… quickly haunt and insta SH them all! Use piranhado only when you are ahead of your teammates and you want to pull in some trashmobs for your upcoming fellas.

Seasonal players can use Krelm's belt as well
Boon of the Hoarder gem is good too

I hope you will find again the pleasure to play WD without having to play another class just to find a game...that's what i call Survival Instinct ^^

    Hf cya in game!

    OraK

posted a message on Analysis Carnevil 2.2
    ty all guys ;)

i'll try to give an answer to every question

    @laurentiusiv

Yeah, reflect damage is a big pain :) But internal CD of that elite affix is not short, so basically just wait for it to finish and don't waste your Spirit Walk! need a bit practise and it will be easy to avoid!

    Well done clearing 35 pre-patch ;)

    @Darials

yes! laurentiusiv gave you a good answer!

    @jamesworkshop

You really need BBV for elite packs (90 CD with Tribal Rites is enough between fights) and, the most important thing, it makes you proc FS like crazy! As you can see in the video, sometime my Fetish Army dies fast but luckily i always have my BBV ready to proc brand new 15 Fetishes from the passive skill ;)

posted a message on "Angry Chicken 2.0" - The Best, Fastest, Funniest build for bounties on T1(70)!!
Hello guys i'm OraK from ZE clan (EU), first time i share something on this forum i hope you will enjoy this build because it's so funny to play :)

Angry Chicken 2.0 is a physical damage build which is supposed to be the most efficient build to do bounties on lower Torments and get horadric caches faster! I have been trying a lot of builds like Jade, Fire, Pets or just even Locust+Creeping Death and trust me nothing is faster than this one!

I called it 2.0 because, in Diablo Vanilla, it was already used to go faster on low MP but not to kill mobs! Now it’s different, it’s an evolution thanks to CDR!

As I said it's a combination of Cooldown Reduction and skills for movement speed (Hex Angry Chicken, Spirit Walk Jaunt and Horrify Stalker)! I also use Fetishes for Elites and Dogs to reduce damage taken (the chicken suffers dmg when hit! It’s not untouchable) thanks to my Uhkapian Serpent. Dogs + mojo is not important, i just was lucky in getting CDR+%Fetish Army... Thing of the Deep is very good too if combined with Grave Injustice.

Here is a video of a short bounty just to show how it works and my armory (at the end):

    Skills setup:
    http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#lYiUXP!TWYa!bbbaZb

There is also a nice variation using Tribal Rites instead of Jungle Fortitude if you don't want to put CDR onto an item (thx to the user PhDeath for remembering it to me, so many things to say i forgot this ^^)

    Items:
In the video i have around 54% CDR thx to Helm, Gloves, Shoulders, Mojo, Born's set, Captains Crimson’s bonus set! Don't forget to use some Pick up radius, Grave Injustice and %Physical damage (Doombringer, amulet, bracers) + %Fetish Army (shoulders, mojo)!

My extra items are Uhkapian Serpent (for dmg reduction + zombie dogs life link), amulet Haunt of Vaxo (i have around 4% Stun on Hit) and Strongarm Bracers to proc their effect with Piranhado and blow up everything! ;)

It's not so hard to make it, you just need to craft 4 set pieces and have some gear with CDR (i recommend not to change a lot from my gear, Grin Reaper, Strongarm in particular)

I hope you guys enjoyed your time reading about this extreme cdr Angry Chicken build and i hope some of you will try it ^^ I know it's not a T6 OP build, but efficiency is part of the game and fast horadric caches too.

    Cya in game, hf all
