Here is how it really works, if an item drops:
- mp 0 + 0 magic find = crappy grey item
- mp 1 + 0 mf = level 63 crappy grey item
- mp 1 + 100 mf = level 63 crappy white item
- mp 1 + 200 mf = level 63 crappy blue item
- mp 1 + 300 mf = level 63 crappy yellow item
- mp 2 + 300 mf = one level 63 crappy yellow item + one yellow item that you are embarrased to sell to the vendor (yes that bad)
- mp 3 + 300 mf = two level 63 crappy yellow items
(and so on and so forth)
*if you're really f-ing lucky, you'll get a crappy brown item to drop*

Conclusion: You have way, way, WAY more free time to play than the majority of the playerbase (not the majority of biased sample of people who post here, but the full playerbase). Of course you are finding a ton of legendaries - the game is now balanced around giving the casual players a shot at finding epic gear, as it should be. -

Forock posted a message on Kotaku article: "TL2 Vs. D3: The Comparison We Had To Make"That is one of the worst, most biased, ignorant, misleading and dis-informative article I've read in a long, long time. I regret reading that.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I'll hate on Diablo all day for things that went wrong / are going wrong... but this guy clearly sat down and thought "Okay, time for that article I was gonna write to smear Diablo 3 to the ground because I hate it...".
You can't say build diversity is superior when you know damn well that in every game people figure out SOMETHING eventually that is the 'best', it gets popular, and developers balance it out. Not that I'm saying Diablo 3 is awsome at this (I actually think there's been much failure in 1.0.4 'balancing'), but the dude's makin' TL2 sound like a magical fantasmical land where you can pick whatever is prettiest to your eyes and do just as good with it as another guy who has done his math and decided on something else.
He also praises TL2 for having no RMAH, proclaiming that that means people can't buy gear on TL2. This made me laugh. You can buy yourself to the top in any game. You can buy yourself to the top in almost anyTHING. Hell, if I was Blizzard I woulda done the same. They said to themselves "in-game goods sold for real money is gonna happen weather we like it or not... so we're just going to do it ourselves. We made the game... we're gonna cash in on this instead of playing police".
Guy proceeds to include the silliest things as well. Lots of loot vs. insane amounts of loot... that was rich. Also pets! Maybe someone should make a counter-argument, claiming that Diablo 3 has angel wings and armor dye while TL2 doesn't, therefore Diablo 3 is better. lol. -
