Got it in a rift Magistrate's Trail 2 while playing WD in HC mode. There was a lot on Terror Demon there. One of them wouldn't break out of invisibility on attacking and was still impossible to attack even with AoE spells. Just kept hitting me and interrupting my town portal's cast until I managed to run to the exist.
Considering high amount of damage from this type of monsters it's a really nasty bug for HC. Be ware!

My first impressions were a little different. Passive skill tree indeed is huge and seem like a lot of diversity, but while I was checking skills all I saw was "+stat , +%health, +minions, +shield, +some specific dmg", only few skills seemed like they really changed alot (like reducing health to 1 and buffing shield), and then I wasn't feeling so impressed. It simply looks like a very overcomplicated system for no reason at all.
The active skill system (gems), again, feels unnecesary overcomplicated and in fact doesn't differ much from D3. You can take out the gem just like you can swap skills, you can buff the skills just like picking different rune. Leveling gems doesn't seem to give anything else than more damage and mana cost. Random gem socket colors in armor/weapon pieces seems like a wierd mechanic that makes less gear actually usable, at least at the beginnings of the game.
The thing I really didn't like one bit was the currency. There wouldn't be much difference if PoE had every of it's "currency items" just buyable with gold. Overcomplicated again. Also inventory seems extremely small, just like in D2, and honestly there was a reason why one of the more popular mods was increasing the size of it. At least stash is big.
Overall the game feels ok. I liked properly randomized maps, dark, scary environments and I will definitely play PoE from time to time. I hope some day, next ARPG game will strike balance between unnecesary overcomplications of PoE and oversimplification of D3.
What could i say... if such a simple game is too complicated for you... Plus you don't even see reasons for their choice of economy... And huge difference between gems in PoE and runes in D3... I feel sorry for you.

as someone who dislikes how D3 turned out.
PoE is worse.
just played it until i got out of the first city to the beach and uninstalled it.
like i read from another player, the main problem is the "feedback" of the game, it jsut doens't feel like you are hitting anything although your character does the animations.
even a old game like D2, or even Divine Divinity does this way better
another huge flaw is the lack of loot, hardly anything drops.
in the diablo series, they give you the illusion of more loot by dropping whites and gold but in PoE i was killing mobs and wondering what the hell am i suppose to be doing
the gem leveling and skill tree is nice, so is their potions concept but that lack of feedback is what killed it for me
Maybe you made a damn big mistake choosing ARPGs as your genre? Go play WoW.
NO LOOT?! Maybe you had to try leveling more than 1lvl? Don't mislead people here pls.
Jan 25, 2013If somebody would give me D3 and PoE with all names and videos censored and ask "which game is D3?" - I wouldn't hesistate to choose PoE. "Man, it's obvious, isn't it? This is D2 with new graphics, economy and cool skill system! And the other game is obiously one of the many hack'n'slash clones you can find"Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)

How the F... is he going to get stats like that for cheap? Or am I missing something? No way. That manajuma is at least 500M.
Without lifesteal forget about MP5. And also it would be much harder if he plays with Acid cloud, then he can take LOH, but LOH doesn't proc on bears.
Edit: didn't see that there was no socket on it :D. Sorry!
Prices rise exponentually. Dropping some stats will allow him to get 80% stats of this items easily. And i got this manajuma for 5M or so... around 3-4 months ago.

Get stats like this. Cheap and good. No problem with MP5. Well, i'm not playing since 1.0.5, but there weren't any changes.
Jan 13, 20131) Get a 4 set Zunimassa bonus via changing boots, ring (+damage and +socket is a cheap option) and helm (with 270+ int With crit is good but expensive) to set ones.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
2) You can get a better gloves with 200+ int, 10% crit and 30%+ crit damage. If you have money - then with +vit and all res too. For around 30-40M.
3) Get an amulet with 8%+ crit, 60%+ crit damage and 250+ int. All res and vit are secondary here.
Everything else is fine as is.
1) You dont need both Acid Cloud and Ghost bomb. For low MP use Acid Cloud with Acid Rain rune plus Zombie bears. For higher MP levels Ghost bomb+Zombie bears are good. Instead get Zombie dogs with leach rune.
2) Jaunt is better rune coupled with your 3% LL.
3) Try Humongoid rune for Garg. Not mandatory, but can be better for a lot of people.
4) Passives: Gruesome Feast+Grave Injustice are mandatory ones. The 3rd one could be used for Spiritual attunement, Blood Ritual or whatever suits you.
Jan 13, 2013Bears, Sacrifice, Acid Rain. That's pretty much it. Not much build diversity, but definetely better than most classes barb included. About INT vs STR gear - no, it's not. But WD has lesser stat requirments for easy farming than barb.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
