"Oh?" he responded, his interest evident. "So you have been here before?"
"Yes. But it was a long time ago." Buliwyf replied. "In the days of my youth, I would often hunt wildlife along it's borders, and while I never spend any real length of time within the town itself, it was always an impressive sight to behold."

Oct 11, 2009Buliwyf fell back into the group near Kira and Warrick.Posted in: Roleplaying
"You would do well to abide by the customs of bramwell as best you can when we get there." said buliwyf overhearing the conversation of Kira and Warrick. "I will not risk outrage and undue attention being brought on us, if it can be avoided. That does not mean you cannot have fun if the oppurtunity presents itself. Bramwell is renowned for it's taverny."
Buliwyf quickened his pace a little to once again be at the fore of the group.
"Tell me Atrion, son of Demetrion, how is Bramwell faring these days? It has been many a year since I last passed by it."
Oct 4, 2009Buliwyf turned around to face him fellow adventurers, noting the looks on their faces.Posted in: Roleplaying
"How much further is it now until we reach Bramwell?" asked Buliwyf. "I mean not to sound impatient, but you did deny my men the chance to spill some blood. All this walking is making them rather restless. Perhaps a good meal and some good alcohol will make them forget their blood lust."
Oct 1, 2009"Your conduct was no more than I would have no doubt displayed were I in your place. We are but mercenaries. Hired swords, our alligence is to who ever has the deepest pocket." replied Buliwyf eyeing Atrion up and down as the walked.Posted in: Roleplaying
"I am Buliwyf. I am the leader of these men and women. The Knights of the Burning Blade. We were hired by Tapas to defend them against the attacks from Riddia. We met with Riddia's forces in the plains, and crushed them with ease. Too much it would seem. For when we returned to Tapas, we found it burning. We were on our way to avenge Tapas. If what you say is true, and Riddia has been destroyed, then the souls of Tapas can rest easy, for their vengence has been met."
Sep 30, 2009"So... what do you think awaits us?"Posted in: Roleplaying
"I have heard little of this king, but I have heard his name before." said Buliwyf. "I ask you exercise restraint in your actions, that goes for all of you, while this group have not shown any hostility, some of those from Bramwell may not be so leniant towards us. Let us find out what the king wants, and be done with the whole thing."
Sep 28, 2009"I lead these men yes." Buliwyf said "We will follow."Posted in: Roleplaying
"If only to avoid pointless deaths" he said to himself. "Lead on."
Buliwyf watched the large stranger closely, but not so as to look out of place as he did it.
Sep 28, 2009But I liked having my 6 socket grandfather on multiplayer.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Did they take LAN out of D3 (or was that just SCII) if they did, then open battle.net, which was effectively LANing, won't happen.
Open Multiplayer was not policed in any real detail if at all, you could hack and edit your character to your hearts delight then face roll through the game with any class you wanted.
If there is no LAN then all multiplayer will be through Blizz's own servers, which are policed. You could probably still level a character offline on Single Player and bring them online for certain things (Didn't you used to have to go online do make runewords?), but bearing in mind it would now be policed. You couldn't have fun making super items, like you could in D2.
I like the idea of being able to switch from offline play to online play whenever I want, but that means the character is saved on my computer, not blizzard's servers which is where the policing issuse lapses, until blizz gets really anal with the security stuff and scans your harddrive even more than they do now, to see if your cheating.
Sep 28, 2009"This is not going to end well." Buliwyf thought to himself.Posted in: Roleplaying
"If you must know, we were hired by Tappas to defend them against Riddia." Buliwyf said. "Riddia razed Tappas while we and the best warriors from Tappas were fighting on the plains. We march to Riddia to to right a wrong. We burned the Riddian out post, and are on our way to do the same to Riddia, if the city of Riddia lies in ruin it was not our doing."
Sep 28, 2009Buliwyf made his way to the front of the group and stared down the large stranger.Posted in: Roleplaying
"We are humble knights." called out Buliwyf. "Our business is our own. We bear no ill towards you or your king, but we will not hesitate if our hand is forced."
Sep 27, 2009Zhar, I've put your post back in, maybe it can be built off from, if not it will need to be edited so that it can, or it will be deleted. Ignoring it would be kinda the same but less confusing for some people. You can't refer to a post if it's not there.Posted in: Roleplaying
And yah, Jetrall is back.

Diablo II LoD, Diablo II, Diablo
Blizzard (ds) arcade
4,3,2,1... quad release may 19th
you left a few WC games out or was that on purpose. WCII exp, WOW exp and WCI
and Blizard arcade has 2 games or was it 3, Lost vikings, that truck derby one and was there another?
I don't really think it'll be another Diablo game because that niche is already being filled with WoW.
WOW may share some similarites to Diablo yes, but its a vastly different game. Diablo had non online play WOW doesnt. Diablo was free to play online, WOW isnt,
A RTS game on the other hand will do nicely to fill the gap. Granted it's still being played incessantly in Korea (and on a minor scale other parts of the world), but those people are grasping onto a game nearly a decade old with highly dated graphics and gameplay. It's time for this company to get back to their roots and revisit the genre which made them so very popular.
almost 10 years without another SC game, (RTS or otherwise) screw WC, 8 games already, bring on some more SC.
This is by far the forum with the lowest average intelligence of any forum I've ever been on. Seriously. Not to be mean or anything, but some of you are either 11 and 12 or severely mentally handicapped
where the hell did that come from? yeh there seems to be a lot of younger people here, especally in recent times, but that no reason to "bad mouth" the forum population in general.
May 15, 2007WCI, WCII, WCII exp, D, SC, SC exp, DII, DII exp, WCIII, WCIII exp, WOW WOW expPosted in: News

DIII, DIII exp, SCII, SCII exp and uh SC: Ghost (or some other SC related game)
Blizzard has never made a sequel that didnt have an expansion
less i missed something? and i might have.

DIGG THE STORY!
One of our forum members(AcidReign) did some intense research, Pretty cool if you ask me! lol
My analysis today has been VERY great. I took a deep look into today's splash screen and this is what I found:
I outlined in red the distinct marks that I could find. On the sides of the picture seem to be claws. On the top of the picture seems to be spikes. Now who has claws and spikes? Gee I don't know - compare with this picture and I think you'll see the resemblance:
The red lines match. Coincidence?
Only time will tell.
Thank you for your time.
it seems to alude to something, hope something further comes of it

That's my logic, though I suppose it could be an elaborate joke to keep people guessing, but what I was pointing out was that they don't always buy the domains of games they release. Domains like www.starcraft.com and www.warcraft3.com are not owned by blizzard, so just because they own www.starcraft2.com doesn't guarantee an announcement, just makes it seem more likely.bu since Blizzard has purchased Starcraft2.com, and not Diablo3.com i think SCII might be the more logical of the two games, but thats not to say they wont annouce SCII on may 19th then annouce DIII at a later stage.
You're right though that whatever game is announced will get an official page at either www.battle.net/ and/or www.blizzard.com/ but I'm sure they won't post a page there until AFTER the announcement.
it has been almost 10 years without another SC game, so a new one is long overdue. 6 years without another Diablo game. i want both of these games so im willing to wait for them.
Ok well I personally think it will be Diablo 3 because of all the staff that has been hired to work on it and because there has been much tradmark activity in the diablo name over the last couple months.
It is noteable however that the starcraft 2 domain was bought by Blizzard and there has been no knowledge of anything of the sort for a Diablo 3.
Basically it could go either way.
kinda what i was thinking. Blizzard seems to pick up quite a few d3 websites but not this one, what were they uh.. diablo3.net diablo3.com.au or something like that.
Just out of curiosity did anyone here play or try dungeon siege 2? I don't want to come across as some sort of traitor but if you love the play-style of Diablo 2 + exp etc then i think you'll love dungeon siege 2. I love Diablo2, always have and i spend years trading and playing on the european server. The only downside to dungeon siege is the fact that your better off playing it offline as the net code is a bit of a joke. Still its a worth while hack n slash fix until D3
played the first one, never got around to the second one.
Apr 30, 2007Posted in: NewsQuote from "crome65" »just a hunch,
goto www.diablo3.com and where does it take u? here... showing that they havent cared to buy the domain... for reason's that they probably wont continue that series considering the whole dev team went elsewhere a.k.a. Hellgate London.
goto www.starcraft2.com and where does it take you? right to blizzard...
sorry guys i think were all waiting for something that will never happen (diablo 3) not a hater cause trust me i'd much rather see d3 over starcraft 2 even though im a fan of both i just think rts games are playd out.
I just want to say that www.diablo2.com leads you to a site that isn't affiliated with Blizzard as well...
or for more info its
Warcraft III ROC/TFT
so for domains wouldnt it be something more along the lines of;
or something like that?
bu since Blizzard has purchased Starcraft2.com, and not Diablo3.com i think SCII might be the more logical of the two games, but thats not to say they wont annouce SCII on may 19th then annouce DIII at a later stage.
Apr 29, 2007almost 10 years without another SC game compared to Diablo's 6. 2 SC games to Diablo's 3 (4 if you count Hellfire but thats not really a Blizzard game) compared to WC's what 7 or is it 8?, (WC, WCII, WCII EXP, WCIII, WCIII, EXP, WOW, WOW EXP, and that second EXP to WOW, something about fighting Athas in Northrend, makes 8)Posted in: News
they are working on the 1.15 patch for SC right?
would they patch an old game and release a new one? i think they might. actually that statement works for both SC and Diablo. 1.15 and SCII, 1.12 and DIII
Apr 28, 2007Posted in: Newsexactly, and that is the problem itself. I dont want another world of warcraft, if i wanted a game like that i could just play silkroad or something similar for free.
quite right, that what i liked about the Diablo series and the BG series, great Single player game that happened to have multiplayer, and was free. Hell i still play Diablo, and BG I, i dont care that they are what 10 years old now.
What im looking for in the next diablo is something almost exactly the same as the original diablo. The evil and darkness of the first game is something that I have not seen matched in any other game.
Hell yeah, Diablo was so dark, eerie, creey and gothic and claustrophobic, d2 was mostly huge open fields, deserts and snow covered tundra. but still a good game, i hope d3, drawns more from d1 in terms of stage design.
The storyline was flawess and drew me in. There have been many times when i have played games and said to myself, "give me a break..." , but that has never happened in diablo. A good RPG extends beyond an immense world with items, quests, and amazing graphics. That was Diablo.
sure as hell was.
Apr 28, 2007Posted in: Newslikekly they will release a starcraft, and if a diablo 3 gets released , dont expect it to be something like baldur's gate 2 , or something based on advanced D&D
there would be the odd similarity to BG in a new diablo game, but i think it would have more in common with WOW, than any game from Bioware Corp.
Apr 27, 20072-3 months? considering ive been at this site for over a year, and have been a loyal fan of the diablo series since '96 thats a laugh.Posted in: News
It seems like WC fans have plenty to chew on for awhile. That would be way too audacious of Blizzard to announce another WC project at this time.im almost %100 sure it wont be WoW. too long they have concentrated on WoW and i think even they see that.
The time is so ripe for Diablo. I'm putting my money on it.
8 WC games compared to 2 SC and 3 Diablo games, these two series are well overdue for another game.
Mar 27, 2007let us hope that is the case.Posted in: News
their fans wish for another game in the awesome diablo series, blizzard surely would not wish to fail living up to (most) expectations, blizzard wouldnt want to dissapoint a huge and loyal fan base.
Feb 2, 2007im thinking later part of 07, early 08, but hopefully earlier than that it depends on where you live, USA, Japan, Korea, and UK will be amoung the first to get it i think.Posted in: News
Quote from "GhostZ" »well shit im glad i did come back yesterday, damn u elfen lied, u said that there hasnt been any new info, we need to have a talk buddy...
when i said it there wasnt anything major new, should something have turned up after i said it, i dont see how i could have been wrong, i was correct when i said it. or have you never actually been in this thread before because its initial info is quite old now.
plus there has been a few of the "yeh its gonna happen, click here, see i told you, but no real actually info or comfirmation infos" floating around, so i dont count them as news.

I think that this link tells me, (even if it dosent say it directly) that Blizzard is working on finding the perfect release date.
the prefect release date would have been 6/6/06.
but im gonna guess and say the projected release date is 31/12/07. then depending on hype, fixing bugs and other issues it will get moved forward or backwards.
