What about all the wow subscribers who will learn of D3 through word of mouth in game for from things like wow launcher, or wow.com. Blizz will surely advertise through every avenue avalible. I reckon alot of those wow players will be looking for a break, change of pace you know. I think its going to do really well.

My vote goes to Barbarian. Not only b/c he is my fav. But b/c hes the grizzled veteran... he stands out among the new kids on the block. I love the way they show the wear on his body, marked up and scared, white hair. His skills are not as flashy as the others, he cant shoot lasers or arcane missiles, but hes already taken the prime evils head on, and stood victoriously over their dead corpses. Iron will, Brute strength, Ruthless as they come.. you bet against the Barb? bring your money son.

don't forget that now the camera is focused on the monk, if the barbarian were in the center, it would be a lot easier to follow him / her

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I watched it. I'm a HUGE fan of the Barbarian, has always been my favorite through the years. When I was watching all the co-op, I found it hard to keep an eye on the barb, just so many visual effects, guess that is why they are limiting the # to 4 players per game for now...

I feel the same way, I can play D2 for 2-3 weeks, then I have to give it a rest so I don't burn out, I kinda been alternating between D2 and Borderlands. Speakin of Borderlands, they have a shotgun called The Butcher, its red text reads.. "Ahhh, Fresh Meat" pretty cool I thinks. I too watch the gameplay trailers ever so often, just to see if there are new things I can find, but I think the best strategy is to not think about it at all, so sometimes I even try to keep my self away from these forums.

I like most everything I have seen up to this point, I think the game is going to be what we have hoped for. I chose skill runes. As mentioned, the character customization allowed with this new addition seems almost overwhelming. One of the things I like most about D2 is the freedom to really expirement with new ideas/unique builds. Im really curious about the crafting system though.. I thought I read that they had some sort of new system they were not talking about, can't wait to see what the D3 team has up its sleeve.

or maybe use the gold to buy tokens, and you can only use the tokens to buy items form the ah... no, that wont work either, i dunno.

If he walks and you suspect that he has not been killed, but you cannot find him, sometimes you might wp to arcane sanctuary, take the portal back to the palace cellar, its possible you might find him there. For some reason ive noticed it a popular place to fight him. Also, try channel Op Dclone it keeps track of the hot/slow/active ip's. it will also tell you which ips have walked. If you get a game that is selling, be patient and do some mf, as stated before it usually takes 80+ to get a walk. just make sure you have a char than can take him down (not too hard) and that they are not already sporting an anni, er else you wont be able to pick it up. If you dont know how to check your ip, let me know and ill give you instructions, happy hunting.

id use ss or make a frenzy build for ubers, but for pvm excluding ubrs, u dont need a shield, ww w/ the poleaxe.. pure ownage, i wreck shop in the worldstone keep. ohs yeah, i forgot, to op, get u a might merc, and if you have the runes/wealth... give him pride... hell will bow down and kiss the floor at your feet, just watch out for IM.

i like the polearm for pvm, zerker for pvp yeah, and yeah ive used a doom z for a dueler, it owns harcore.. you dont even hve to be that fast, no one can get away from you, lol.

yeah, i read that you were lvl 90... i was not suggesting that you go pick up an ebotd great poleaxe and give it to a char that has 20 pts into a different weapon skill, i was simply suggesting that you go with ebotd gp, its better than a thunder maul for a barb, more range, plus if im not mistaken it will hit the max break point, or come damn close. if you do it right he will out perform your current lvl 90 when hes lvl 80. thats ez to get to.

get you an ebotd great poleaxe, thats what my barb uses, he owns hell difficulty. dont forget 1 point into berserk for the PI. in the chaos sanct, i use concentrate or berserk as main attack, my barb is fast, so i rush in and smash the oblivion lords or whatever they are (the ones that curse you with iron maiden) then ww the rest.
