mitigation + loh are key. then need enough crit to keep perma-wrath and ww/sprint going from battle rage. u might get pwned from elites without enough mitigation or loh, or if u dont get a good start on them. this is what i use, just sold most my dh stuff (mostly on RMAH) and managed to gear this barb with less the i got for my 2 radiant star emeralds. he has 1 shot every boss in inferno on first try: barb http://us.battle.net...6/hero/22955046 . personal budget tips- 1- avoid gear with gem slot generally, gems can cost a hefty chunk of your budget, 2-crit hit dmg is a luxury and not needed imho; if u can survive for any amount of time vrs elites, extra dmg only speeds it up, you can go for it eventually, but id prefer stats that have secondary bonuses like: str (armor), crit (fury), attack speed (more crit/sec, more loh/sec, more fury gen/sec) or any mitigational stats (increase relative effectiveness of loh heals).
edit- for mitigation even tho armor 10: 1 resis is optimal, with a build not employing armor passives you have to consider warcry give 50% bonus res and only 20% bonus armor.

I think Paragon is the single best thing possible to add to the game, though.
2-3 because this will be the seed for bringing in dueling and open world pvp where desired, whereas you can also choose campaign mode or join a random campaign game. or you can just join a trading game, or a free items game, or a game for farming elites but not doing quests... etc etc.. the list goes on, why remove our ability to choose (IMO B.c it would negatively influence blizz rmah profits from trading games.. but they let the trading channels and forums go on so why not!)
the paragon system is nice but if it comes with seasons id rather have neither than both. ladder was the 1 thing i disliked them adding to d2, that and skill synergys

Been reading diablofans since mmo-champion created it, but after reading the blizzard company history with regards to brevik I finally felt compelled to post lol.
Im all for brevik, blizz actions remind me of mitt romney,.

blizz south is about $ 1st games 2nd. d3 is a decent game still, and i still play it a ton, but if d2 had updated graphics and rmah id prefer that in a heartbeat
same way blizz try and take ownership of dota, they probably own so many of breviks idea anything he creates he coulld be sued. shitty corporate world.
edit2- and im all for cursing and whatnot personally, but you dont see tom brady cursing out eli manning on tv. when you invite your business into your personal life you have an image your paid to represent
