posted a message on Brining back charms?
Charms are stat sticks clustering the inventory. If they put them in a different container with a bonus to unlock if you use specific charms, that would be better.... that reminds me of the scrapped talisman idea, more or less. Surely, i don't want to see more items with just flat stat increase, gems are sad enough.

posted a message on Legendary item chance revealed :(
That's what we get when a really niche genre reaches the masses. Bitching and moaning because you don't have what you are looking for in a month of a grinding game. Yes, GRINDING. Maybe these ppl are the same that bitched about not getting that 2b gold loot on Vanilla and not being able to "progress" (because watching Streamers playing each day, multiple hours a day is a metric to see how far behind you are in the game and going crazy because they aren't farming T6 like they do).

Like MMO, this genre has reached a wider audience of players that don't grasp the concept that not every game should suit their habits and taste and i hope the hype train for this title and genre dies fast.

The flaws in this game aren't the drop rates, but the boring itemization that wasn't fixed. (Really, adding more, undesired stats into a 4/2 system doesn't make it dynamic, to use a word ruksak love).

posted a message on Crit / Crit dmg on weapons is broken?
Meh, i think they didn't create a choice for items at all with this expansion. The more i play, and the more i look at other players' gear, i always see the same combination of stats. Damage, Main Stat, Socket, % damage on weapon; Elemental Damage, Main Stat, Vit, CC on bracer; Main Stat, 3 Sockets, Vit, AR on Chest (or the usual Cindercoat), Trifecta on gloves, amulets and rings... etc. etc.

Surely, the worst offender is the weapon, if there is a chance for socket, you can work something with, otherwise it's a soul. I don't understand why the damage range counts as a primary stat since it should be baseline. This removes a stat roll from the 4 possible primary stats we can have on a slot, then we have Main Stat, % damage and a socket.... this reminds me of how Vanilla weapons had to roll to be worthwhile.... not a huge step foward in term of gearing choices in my opinion....

You should never advertise an exploit, clever use of game mechanics or a bug! You do more harm than good to the game and give the Support Team, or whoever has to take action on the violating accounts, a headache.

CheehC nailed it. If you contact the company direclty via e-mail, they will look into the issue and hopefully a smaller amount of players abused this bug.

Now, with streamers showing this, which i think Diablo 3 has the worst kind, inclined to bug abuse or any kind of work around game mechanics, this "totally legit" experience farm is mainstream.... And i can't believe i see often Youtubers doing the same. They find a game breaking bug and post it on the internet to "show it to devs so they can fix it". More like "show it to everyone so we can troll the game". If those people really cared about the integrity of the game, they would make a private video and send the link to the Dev Team privately instead of this.

I hope Blizzard takes action, because anyone "playing" this way isn't even gaining experience while.... actually playing the game and they know it. I don't think bans will be used.... but maybe Paragon reset will be a fair punishment.

    posted a message on 3 hours farming T3 Rifts + Kadala = 0 legendaries
Sigh.... i miss the late days of Diablo 3 Vanilla with almost no post about this matter. Now these threads "I played for X hours and i got nothing" are growing like mushrooms. Bad luck streaks happens, and even if you got something in that time, maybe that item wasn't of your liking or an upgrade... the next complain will be "I'm not getting upgrades after playing for Y hours?".

Try playing any other ARPGs and you won't get usefull items either in that time you played if the rng is against you, just deal with it. Meaningfull rewards aren't guaranteed ever in this genre, you just have to play the game and sooner or later you will get something.

posted a message on Preparing for shipment
Being prepared for shipment means they are packaging it, so no, it's not on a truck. When it's being shipped, so in the hand of the delivery service, the product will be labed as "shipped". I know i broke your hopes, but it's better to not hold any illusions in this case.... because i'm in the same boat as you.

posted a message on MF Increase per kill idea
This post from Travis Day explains the drop rates quite a bit: http://www.diablofans.com/news/47917-travis-day-on-legendary-drop-rates

The paragraph you are looking for is this:

We added a system in the expansion that tracks the amount of time you spend fighting creatures without finding a legendary and after a certain period of time will slowly start increasing the legendary drop rate. Once a legendary drops for you, actual item not crafting recipe or material, we reset that timer. This is meant to be a safety net so that the random can never be too extreme to the negative end. If players are legitimately going 18+ hours and not seeing a legendary it's possible that there are some bugs floating around that need to be identified.

posted a message on Loot 2.0 did not change a thing
When i read your point on Rares i understood you can't move away from the old itemization where you could have all desiderable stats in one slot.

That's the whole point of Loot 2.0, not being able to have all desiderable offensive and defesinve stats on a single piece of equipment (gloves, jewelels and bracers are huge offenders of this in previous expansion). You need to choose what you want from you gear, expecially now that there are more competitive affixes like Elemental Damage (that's the bonus that makes me change my build so often), Cooldown Reduction and Resource Cost Reduction. These stats all share the same category of Main Stats, Ias, CC, CHD, AR and you can have at max 4 primary stats on a single slot. That's what i like.

I have no idea what some players are looking for. We have Legendaries that change how some skills work, we have more stats to choose... I think i've changed build at least 3-4 times because i've found a new item and i want to experiment a bit. I'm using that terrible quiver i dropped (showed on http://www.diablofans.com/forums/diablo-iii-general-forums/diablo-iii-general-discussion/81021-show-off-your-loot-2-0-legendaries?comment=4 ) because i got a pair of bracers with Fire Damage and crit and i wanted to see how instand Imminent Doom Bolas work with some other fire spell (Spike Trap with Sticky Bomb rune).

Meh..... i ate the bait i think...
