At this point is just too convenient to invest a small amount of money to buy gold and gear up a char to lvl up in high mp10 than playing the game, if you are not a masochist (as me).
If Blizzard wants to keep raising the gold stack for RMAH, they will just go down a neverending spiral because third party sites will always have the cheapest gold and Diablo 3 just keep pumping this currency without limits, inflating the economy without stop.
Some time ago i would never said this but i really wish we would had a Ladder reset every few months to keep the economy from collapsing or implement some BoA system to avoid oversaturation of items on the AH, maybe tied to some sort of enchant npc (mystic) that will empower your items but make them untradable.
I know i will sound like a hater, but i just need to vent some rage at Blizzard: "Good job idiots, you didn't foresaw gold inflation and botter competition after a month of the game lifespan! Just keep making gold cheaper on the RMAH, it will fix the problem!"
I really hope next patch and expansion will make these problems worthless...
At this point, if i ever feel like playing this game before "Loot 2.0" i will just stay in HC.

I know it's hard to believe but they can't do it all in one day. There will be no miracle patch. It's piece by piece as it has been for the last year and the game has improved greatly.
Actually I'm not even sure this is a serious post, these notes have been around for weeks, even a month.
And there were more pressing matters from retail than these "minor" quality of life changes. They had to rebalance Inferno to make it playable for the majority of players without using cheesy tactics (grave ressing, perma smoke screen and others), improve legendary items, crafting and PvP (which got screwed quite bad in my opinion).
I agree Blizzard is taking very cautious steps, even too much for my taste, but i'm quite happy that they are still working on this game to make it more enjoyable every time. -

Apr 2, 2013Seifa posted a message on Developer Journal: Multiplayer ImprovementsFilter for multiplayer games is a really good thing, I hated when i joined random parties and found out it was a PvP game, quite annoying and i abandoned co-op games quite fast. While most (read: all) of my friends stopped playing D3, it's boring killing monsters alone. Hopefully the new matchmaking and tweaks on co-op will make playing in group better.Posted in: News

Mar 5, 2013Seifa posted a message on Developer Journal: Itemization UpdateThe best thing i read is the new Legendary system. It's a shame that all those low lvl Legendaries don't get much love (rephrase, they don't get it at all). If Inferno drops all orange (brown? w/e) items scaled to max lvl, it gives some good diversity.Posted in: News

It feels like they want to give a cookie to the PvP crowd so they won't yell about its lacking anymore.... I would be disappointed too if i wanted what they promised months ago....
Meh.... it's a low blow in my opinion, really low. -
Aug 22, 2012Seifa posted a message on A Message From JayI think Jay is a real sensible person. After working hard on Diablo 3, he and his team has been swarmed by harsh criticism (valid or not it's not my point). They started working hard to deliver 1.0.3, and it didn't stop. Just a few days before the release of 1.0.4, Brevik did that interview and i think Jay couldn't take it anymore and vented some frustration.Posted in: News
Was it a good decision? Ofc not. Is it justifiable? I don't think so. He made a huge mistake as a human, and he will probably pay the price for a while. I feel sorry for him... -

As Shaggy said, i hoped for Gift to work on every slot, and from there build something interesting with gems but they took a timid step in the right direction to make the mandatory emerald on weapons free but that's not enough to overhaul the whole system.
Oh well, let's live and let's see what the future brings.

Sure, this suggestion would mean that the whole gem system as to be redone and i don't think Blizzard will overhaul itemization twice in a single expansion, but my dream is to have different colored sockets and if you match them you unlock a bonus not avaiable on that piece of equipment.
Seeing Ramalandi's Gift work only on weapons made me really sad, because if it worked on everything, it would have been a step on the right direction to make sockets an extra stats instead of rerolling something else on our gear and see the same combination of affixes on chest, pants, helm.

It always hurts my heart to see countless of weapons being tossed away because they don't have room for an emerald, which also makes dual wield the better option if avaiable. Of course on chest and pants you NEED gems too, but the bonus provided by them is so uninspired, just flat stat increase and there is no reason to use diamonds or the gem that increases your main stat, depending on your toughness.
The whole socket system should be reworked, without a doubt.

Going around hunting for rare monsters to gather the needed material was a nice break from the Rift Marathon we are playing at the moment.... This is a problem i feel that Diablo 3 has, we are playing the same mode over and over, there is a serious lack of different events to play (will tiered rift help? Who knows)... So much for explore the world

And as Sigma said, in ladder we will cry for more gold when we can't reroll our nearly BiS piece of equipment...

While i can't add anything to your suggestion, i agree that Bleed, with other stats, is just a wasted affix slot and insta rerolled, if possible, into a mandatory stat on weapon or off hand.

I totally agree on TrueCold's points about generators and Chakram.
At the moment i'm using Hungering Arrow Serrated Arrow because it's fire (what a surprise) and it generates a lot of hatred (I miss my Instant Bola... but double 1h bow is so much stronger) and Chakram is just mechanically bad. Half the time it missed its target.... it's a weird projectile.
Lastly, i think Strafe is still weak. I played around it a lot, and i just can't do enough damage comparad to my Multishot build.
