Like the above post said, swap to Mantra of Evasion/Hard Target, and get you a decent shield with some AR( or Posion resist in your case),Vit,Dex, and maybe some crit on it and you should just roll through A3. I realize Sword & Board isn't the funnest play style but while your progressing I would strongly recommend it.
Just curious to see what new builds any of you are using with the changes in 1.0.4. I've experimented with alot of different builds but always end up coming back to the pre 1.0.4 build. The only mild success I've had comes from this build. http://us.battle.net...SXgk!UXc!YacbYa Yeah it's pretty similar to the old cookie cutter build but i really like the damage WoL does even with dual wielding.
I've been alternating my passive between Chant and Resolve but I really like the spirit regen from chant, and since i'm no longer spamming my mantra I really like the longer time on it. The only thing I haven't decide is if the damage from WoL makes up for the loss of damage from spamming MoC/overawe. Anyways, just wanted to see what other people were running with. Would really like something new.
Edit: Forgot to point out that I'm still experimenting with FoT/Thunderclap vs FoT/Quickening. The extra spirit is great for more WoL's but it's a totally different feel and I'm not sure if I like it.
I don't think they said gear swapping was a problem. They were just looking for something different for people that didn't want to gear swap. I think this is a pretty good solution. As for the exp thing, you think 30-45 hours for level 100? I'm guessing 300-450 hours is barely going to do it, if even that.
Like! Little sad about the MF cap and that they didn't introduce an easy gear swap option but not a big deal. For the most part I think this is great. Can't wait to get leveling again.
We've increased the maximum stack size of gold per listing from 100,000 to 1,000,000. The current minimum listing price will remain the same per stack.
Not sure if I understand this correctly... does that mean 1mil = 0,25€?
That's the way I read it too. Guess we will find out tomorrow.
*Every time you kill your 500th elite, a guranteed Legendary drops (ilvl and affix rolls depending on Act and MF Gear as usual). This resets your 'Level of Excellence' to zero.
With the research that I and the "team" I have kind of had joining in my MF thread we have absolutely no reason to believe that the actual affix rolls depends on MF gear.
So I'm a little sceptic.
Anyway, nice find.
It is definately something that has a possibility to enter the game. I don't like it, but that's just a personal preference.
That's what got me thinking its fake. MF does not affect affixes or ilvl.
Well if you don't want to use the kiting technique then I would suggest getting somewhere close to 2k LoH, very high AR (1k range), and ton of DPS(40-50k). A little more HP wouldnt hurt you either. Ghom just has a thing for Monks. He like to make our lives difficult.
Getting kinda bored with the normal old Fist of Thunder/Sweeping Wind(cyclone) build and was just curious if anybody has come up with something different and fun? I'm thinking something like the WW/Cyclone Barb build. We have so many skills that go unused there has to be some combination of them that work good.
