tiered rifts.. yaawn. These ideas seems very cool, I like them a lot. They might as well put those season legendaries in there, and removing crapthorne from the loot table etc.

But I think the cost for such a rift is too small. 250 shards and 15 keys are piss easy to get, and couple this with having a party..

Fuck, me too! Im scared shitless if I boost a guy as well. They have rift keys to spend on low level chars, and I pray I dont get any legendaries.

^ You can enjoy playing the way you want, but don't be surprised if people look down on you for playing on normal...
Hehe, I dont look up or down on people. But I want to state that from my point of view, since he was pleading to Blizzard to make this game harder for a casual (harder as in, no pain no gain / no 100hours played no fun).
I've played games since Amiga, the thing is, I simply do not want to invest too much time into Diablo. When I have holiday, I go far away from computers, when it's sunny, I go outside, but I still love computer games.

Don't worry, I'll still play the higher torments, it just takes a little longer for me to get there, not because I'm retarded, but because of time spent in game. This is NOT a hard game, its a great time consuming game where things blow up. I love it :)

I just hit 70 last night with my monk, because that is the amount of time I have for D3 at the moment. I would not play this game, if I had to spend countless of hours just to get to the point of slaying monsters in a pace I was comfortable with. I like blowing things up fast, and I adjust the difficulty level to that, its how I like to play my monk.

You can call me normal-hero all you want, but I really don't care. If you have 4-6+ hours a day for Diablo, fine, but I settle with 2 at most. And here you are, calling me names for enjoying the game in a mode I prefer..

posted a message on Legendary drop nerf or just bad RNG?
I think its RNG, but the way I play the game, its more fun to just play the difficulty where you smash faces and let the time flow without thinking about legendary drops. I simply tormented myself going around hoping for a legendary all the time.

RNG gods can do their bad curse on me, but they can not touch my attitude and joy.

Awesome, I liked the build, and thanks for showing it in T4. But I am quite curious what roll you had on that leg. belt :D

A question though, I feel LoH is quite bad on my wizard, and really awesome on my Monk. How much LoH would you recommend is needed for this build on T2/T3? How much LoH do you have?

posted a message on Worried without Lifesteal. Can a casual player enjoy WD ?
    Hi

I love my WD, but it has a 5% lifesteal skorn, which makes kind of everything viable for me as long as I have the old Zuni 4 set bonus available because of the 20 mana/sec it gives. But going into RoS soon, Im worried if I should stick with what seems to be a very gear-dependent-specific class.

I'm not relly bating a whinefest here, I just want the facts. Does this class take a lot more time to get to the sweet spot then the other? I want something cool from the get go, as I simply dont have a lot of time to play, and when I do play, I dont want to feel that this class is gonna be fun 2-3 months ahead (no pain no gain feeling).

    No.

Co-op is fine. I'm always more efficient solo. I kill things faster and go where I want.

I do play with friends and it's nice to have small buff for being in a group but NEVER have I felt I'm missing out because i'm not playing in random pub games for the bonuses.

Who cares about the XP gains in higher Torment? It's such a boring motivator. There's literally nothing different except mobs have way more HP, hit harder. It's not like you're getting items you can't get in lower Torment.
Well see, that's Shaggy's point, is that it IS far more efficient to play in a group. Mob's HP only scales at 50%. Meaning with four clones of yourself, you've quadrupled your DPS while only doubling the mobs HP - right there it's more efficient. Then add in the buff, and the fact that your four clones can clear higher torment just as fast (which means more legendaries per hour) and you've got something that isn't balanced against solo play.

Will you find four clones of yourself? (Yea, if you're multiboxing). Probably not, but you can come pretty close with friends. I believe all that's being asked is the balance get's taken a look at.
Shaggy's point is more precisely that he thinks the balance gap is too big, not that there's something wrong with groupplay being more efficient.

You examples are in a dreamworld, 4 clones of myself would fuck things up real good yes, but I have 4 people with different gear, maybe not optimized build (and also spend some time optimizing their build), that takes 2-10 minutes pauses every now and then (baathroom, smoke, something to drink, quick eat, phonecall, doorbell, fucking girlfriend.... etc!). Yes they can leave, but often it's like "brb 2sec into 2-4 minutes". And this is with friends, not just some random guys.

posted a message on Where are the new Legendary Farming areas?
I really like how they seem to have made Diablo where one single spot isn't vastly superior to just playing the game from start to finish. I like to see the entire game, to do the quest, to think that I am some sort of slayer that kills stuff like a champ, and still be rewarded the same as someone who prefers a high density farm route going from waypoint to waypoint.

Co-op needs to be as it is. It should greatly make players thinking of going into groupplay. Without a community that chats and plays together, this will shut the game down hard. Build diversity and items will increase with group play. Also, playing solo aint that bad. If you have to play T2 instead of T4 it aint end of the world.

posted a message on Inferno Drops Make No sense at all
This game is really awesome when it comes to loot. Sure I have to play 5 hours or more in act 2/3 to maybe get something that sells. But you know what, last night, I got 2 pieces that sold for 5mill each, I did play about 10 hours, but it was really fun. Not every 10 hour is gonna give you good loot, and Im stilling hunting for the item that sells in the hundreds of millions.

It is SO much satisfaction knowing, that each undiscover on a 62-63 can net you an item that makes you so happy you would smile for weeks. This game is basically an item grind fest, and its MUCH better at it then MMOs (wow comes to mind, grinding terrible easy bosses that will NEVER give you what you need, and if it does, you have to randomize it again vs other people in group [thinking about a rare mount]). Sometimes I wonder if those complaining in here are literally retarded or have ever played a videogame before. Sure there can be small tweaks too loot, small ones, not handing out good gear on an hourly basis.

I love this game, I feel lucky to live and play this game, its so fun and rewarding. Yes, I have to work a long time to get my gear, and I need to read a lot what other classes and specs need, so that I can actually identify myself what sells. I bet most noobs throw good gear out the windows that could have sold for 10millions.

PS: Im a casual player, 2 hours a night on average.
