There's no magic spot or mob that drops legendaries that I've found. My build/gear has been constant for a while and I'm averaging 1 legendary/set item about every 5 hours with this current run. Most of my legendaries have been ilvl 61 and 62 and I'm wondering if I'll see the same results since a good many have been moved to ilvl 63. Hopefully you're right and the speed of the run and # of mobs makes up for the lower drop rates.
I'll try the same run for a few days to see how it goes. I might mix in a few Act 3 runs to see if there is any difference in drops.
5hours / legendary is awesome if you are lucky that much. Constant farming here and 100hours/legendary here..
I do 300%MF including NV stacks and Act2 farming all the way.
I love this changes. I was already having fun still, but now it will more interesting to play. I wish i'm luckier when it comes to legendaries. Still got only 2 crappy ones since release..
I really really like Diablo, even though random drops makes me sad, but excitement of finding some upgrages still makes you feel good..
I've found with most of my characters at 60 the chance of getting a legitimate upgrade isn't all that low. I haven't spent any gold in weeks, but my DH is decently geared (from my own drops) and actually found 2 upgrades last night. I figured I was just lucky in the first week-month when I was reading all the hurf blurf about "never," finding upgrades, but at this point I am almost certain the majority of those players:
a. Have only 1-2 60's and therefor ~3/5 of their drops aren't likely to be upgrades.
b. Have spent heaps of gold or cash on upgrading their primary character to the point where upgrades are astronomically great items which are rightly hard to find.
c. Just don't play the game anymore but come to rant and rave in hyperbolic fashion.
I completely agree, whoever has 1million DPS at the moment, which we can see in Diabloprogress being active, can't find any upgrade..
But running with 1 for multiple chars always makes you happy at the end of the day.
I really hope 1.0.4 delivers, and it seems that they are really working hard on it. They know that a lot of things are at stake. Guild wars is coming really strong, and playing with very dynamics of their 2 competitor games. GW2 will both affect D3 and WOW.

No, but not having either of these 3 (LoH/Crit/Socket) makes it hard to sell.It means people need to get these stats on other items, for example a 900 loh off-hand with socket or a neck with 600 loh. Same deal for crit stackers, altho it's even worse for them since there's a possibility of 200% crit on a weapon and no real chance to make up for that anywhere.
Got the idea, thanks mate. Hopefully it will worth couple for million at least
