• + 6% poison is equivalent to about 126 dex for a model with 2000 dex and physical ED affixes on weapon (e.g., all the 1375+ dps xbows); to about 40-60 dex for a model with 2000 dex and elemental dam affixes on weapon (e.g., a 1333 dps xbow with 243-624 Lightning dam).
• 6% ASI is equivalent to another 80-130 dex for dps.

So the boots provides you equivalently 422 - 472 dex in all for a 2000 dex char with a physical dam weapon (all the highest dps xbows and bows); about 338 - 408 dex for elemental dam weapons.

• ASI improves attack frequency and kiting experience (if needed)

In one word, it's a BiS boot for extreme dps. Athene broke his Natty's 4 set for another pair (w/ 192 dex) of Zunny's boots. Above ones are clearly better for dps than Athene's.
