posted a message on My idea for a Hardcore Ladder
Sounds a lot like regular hc but scaled up and with additional features. Applying some of these ideas to the regular hc game will be enough I think. No need to make it all elaborate starting off at 60 with predefined gear and at Inferno level only. I imagine a lot of people will just die in Tier 1 Act 1 anyway.

Essentially, you want blizz to create new difficulty levels behind inferno (T4 Act 1 will be the next difficulty level after inferno, is that right?). Last time I checked only about 120 people have cleared Inferno HC. I think this only caters to the super hardcores with no real appeal to the masses.

He was wearing very good gear up until recently. Maybe he's just experimenting with +exp gear.

posted a message on MF/GF more common in gear now?
Is it just me or are the MF/GF affixes appearing much more often in loot now since 1.0.4 (drops and crafted). I'm just wondering if any of you are experiencing the same thing.

The tornado ticks with LOH forms the majority of your life leech. Life steal is for barbs which have high enough dps. 1000-1500 LOH should be sufficient

    1. keep warcry and battle rage up at all times. What I do is warcry first to generate the 30 fury, and battle rage costs 20 fury only. Tada.

    2. If you have enough fury, start sprint and run around the mobs to start your fury generation. If not enough fury, hit a mob with a bash+instigation. This should generate enough fury to start your sprint.

    3. Once you are comfortable with fury generation, you can start whirlwind around mobs. If fury runs out for for whatever reason, you can bash again to get some fury back.

Keep in mind that sprint should be your main damage skill, while ww only if you have excess fury (at max usually). Pop wotb for unique packs or whatever.

Create a brand new email on gmail/outlook whatever. Change your bnet email to this new one and use it exclusively for bnet. I did this and stopped getting spam emails immediately. Adds another layer of security as well because chances are, no one will even know this email exists.

    ^this!!!

Switched to hc recently with a 52wiz and im loving it. Farming act3 inf on my barb is just plain boring. I mean what's the point in farming? So that my farming is even more efficient?

posted a message on Why make a game where skill doesnt matter?
First of all I think skill does matter in the game. Why is it that people like kripp or zrave (my barb role models) can make budget barbs with less than a million and still be able to clear inferno. Im pretty sure most people with that exact same gear wouldn't be able to do that. Learning how to kite, use of choke points, corridors etc are part of the skill part of the game.

There is also 'skill' in using the AH. I'm quite sure there are numerous items that you could have sold on the AH that you are overlooking perhaps. Also, there are ways to buy items at good deals to reap the maximum benefits with the gold you spend. E.g. some people would buy the first upgrade they see with 1mil that was decent. A better player would search harder and find something with maximum benefits using a spreadsheet for example. This min maxing is something which helps a lot.

I play barb and pre nerf, i was snb barb with about 14k dps farming act2 (very slowly and horribly). After reading up on crit gear, I got to about 40k dps with about 1mil per item slot. This is from farming act2 only. Its not until I switched to ww tornardo build that I can now farm act3. I run through only picking up rares. I find that this is much more time efficient than picking up everything.

Research your class as I have had and you will be able to farm act3 soon. Btw I've played 170hrs on barb so its not a ridiculous amount of time required to hit act3 on farm.
